In recent years,with the huge increase in patent transactions between domestic and foreign enterprises,and the rising number of patent transactions,the foreign patent trading institutions of NPEs play a very important role in the whole transaction process.In China,it is an important transition period of Intellectual property industry,from ‘Patent Country' to ‘Patent Power';it is a major challenge and opportunity for the entire IP industry.The basic service of patent agency couldn't meet the needs of the market,and some high-end patent business are favored by the market,such as patent layout consulting,patent search analysis,patent evaluation,patent early warning,competitor analysis,intellectual property litigation etc.With the rapid development of the international patent monetization business,China is still in the initial stage.This paper will base on the current situation of patent monetization business in the Intellectual Property Company A.Through analysis the status of patent monetization and analysis the domestic and international competitive market,such as business module,service mode,customer group,marketing positioning and other relevant aspects.Using the SWOT competitive advantage and core competitiveness of marketing analysis tools,researching the patent monetization development strategy in Intellectual Property Company A,and provide constructions and advices that a market exploitation,service pattern,business innovation,channel cooperation,human resources training,internal management,brand building and other aspect's in the future patent monetization business.Based on the research of the marketing relative theory and literature,and combining the author's work-experience,analyzing the patent monetization development in China by using modern marketing strategy theory.Through the analysis of the market environment,the characteristics of the industry,the marketing strategy of the main competitors,the marketing strategy of the intellectual property company A,discovering the future development trend of the patent monetization.This paper puts forward some problems in the aspects of industry integration,comprehensive service ability,compound human resource training and resource integration ability,so as to provide improvement suggestions and further references of the patent monetization development and business optimization strategy for Company A.At the same time,the research results will provide reference experience for domestic similar patent monetization company.
