The United States is an immigrant country, which is a pluralistic society composed of whites, blacks,Latinos,Asians and many other ethnic groups. For a long time, there have been structural gaps in politics, economy, culture, society and other aspects between minorities groups such as Latinos,Asians, and Blacks with mainstream white groups.Minorities groups have been marginalized. However, with the rapid growth of minorities, especially Latinos, the structural gaps in the United States is changing quietly. At present,Latinos have become the second largest ethnic group in the United States except white people. The population of Latinos is close to 59 million, more than 18% of the American population;this not only promotes the transformation of the United States to "bilingual","bi-communal","bi-cultural" and other "dual ethnic groups",but also profoundly affects the trend of American politics.Since the 21 st century,Latinos have actively participated in election politics, with increasing participation, increasing enthusiasm for participation, and greater flexibility in participation, which has not only contributed to a very high voter turnout, but also expanded the form of political participation and changed the orientation of the parties. There are many reasons for the increasing level of political participation of Latino.Among them, the rational choice of self-interest is the first cause. After the costbenefit calculation, political participation affects the adjustment of American immigration, education, work and other policies deeply related to Hispanics' interests,so as to meet the realization of Hispanics' personal interests. In addition, the social structure factors such as population and class of the Latino ethnic group and psychological factors such as national identity and social responsibility are also important reasons. The factors that influence Latino voting tendencies are candidate evaluation, political party identity, and religious values.Voting options are made in two ways: retrospective and forward-looking.Changes in Latino participation in election politics have profound effects, not only making Latinos become the key factor of "swing state",more and more attracted by the two parties, the leaders of Latinos also come to the front desk.
