A Study On Management Of Juveniles In Detention Center In W City

In recent years,juvenile delinquency in our country has gradually shown a trend of younger age,violence,gang,etc.,which has attracted more and more attention from all walks of life.Juvenile delinquency has always been a very serious social problem related to our country and even the world.It is also known as the world's three major poisons,along with drugs and environmental pollution.The detention house is the organ for detaining the criminal suspects who are arrested or detained according to law.It is responsible for custody,supervision,education and probation,ensuring the smooth progress of criminal proceedings,and is an important position of politics,the rule of law and human rights.The juvenile criminal suspects in detention,that is,the juvenile detainees,are the research object of this paper and the subject of juvenile crime.It is not only the functional requirement of the detention house,but also an important means to prevent juvenile recidivism.However,there are many problems in the management of juvenile detainees in China,from the system,the main body of law enforcement,to the management facilities,methods and contents.Starting from the practical work,this paper comprehensively uses the theories of public management,sociology,psychology and other disciplines,and uses the methods of interview,literature research and other research methods.Firstly,it makes a profound analysis of the current situation of the management of minors in w City Detention Center.By citing data and case analysis,the author reveals the problems in the management of juvenile detainees in w City Detention Center,such as the lack of selection mechanism,professional training and enthusiasm for work of law enforcement subjects;the uneven management facilities;the hidden dangers in management methods;and the mere formality of management contents.Secondly,combined with the reality of w City Detention Center,the reasons are analyzed from five aspects: management system,law enforcement subject,management facilities,management mode and management content.Finally,based on my own work experience and practical experience,the author puts forward suggestions and Countermeasures for the cause analysis: in terms of system and policy,we should strictly implement the system of division of charge and sub charge,effectively implement the direct face-to-face management system of police,improve the system of communication and meeting,and implement the system of preferential treatment for police;in terms of law enforcement subjects,we should reasonably allocate police force,cultivate professional talents,optimize the office environment,and establish a mind Management intervention;management facilities should be increased and enriched;management methods should be improved and set up "ladder" incentive measures;management content should promote medical specialization and increase social education force of social supervision.The purpose of this paper is to study how to promote the management of the juvenile detainees in the detention center.The countermeasures include many specific working methods,which are innovative and practical to test the rationality,and have some practical significance.
