The Study Of Social Mentality From The Perspective Of Marxism

Social mentality is the psychological state of social members in a period of time,the spiritual content of social life based on social existence,and the manifestation of human's essential power in social practice.The emergence and development of social mentality is historical and procedural.The perception,need,consciousness and personality in Marxism and Friedrich Engels' s view is the starting point of the study of social psychology,which provides a theoretical source for the study of social psychology from the perspective of Marxism.Friedrich Engels put forward the theory of historical resultant force and the intermediate link,and paid more attention to the counteraction of social consciousness.The Georgi Plekhanov supplemented the theory of social consciousness on the historical materialism tall building built by Marxism and Friedrich Engels,and put forward the concept of social psychology for the first time.The successive leaders of the Communist Party of China have gone through the process from attaching importance to the spiritual force behind the social development to clearly putting forward the concept of social mentality,and raising the cultivation of healthy social mentality to the height of state governance.The main connotation of the social mentality in the view of Marxism is the primary form of social consciousness,a macro social psychological state and the visual reflection of social existence.it shows the characteristics of subjectivity,times,group and infection.The social mentality is the comprehensive product under the complex society,is influenced by the subjective and objective factors.Mode of production,cultural tradition,social ideology and social class provide the environmental basis for the formation,development and evolution of social mentality.The main cognitive mode,thinking mode,knowledge and experience,moral cultivation,psychological quality and other comprehensive quality also affect the change and development of social mentality.Social Psychology has a theoretical place in the Marxist philosophy.It is not only a primary form of social consciousness,but also an irrational factor in the development of cognition,which not only enriches and develops the historical materialism,but also further reveals the internal relations among the various parts of the Marxist philosophy,so that it can become a category of Marxist theory.The dual background of theory and practice determines that the study of social psychology from the perspective of Marxism has both theoretical and practical value.In theory,it further expands the perspective of the Study of social psychology and advances the construction of social psychology theory with Chinese characteristics.In practice,the study of social psychology is of great practical significanceto the improvement of people's happiness,the response to public crisis,the innovation of social governance system and the shaping of good national psychology.
