With the rapid aging of the population,"empty nesters" have become more and more diff-icult problems in the process of social development.Now we should not only focus on their p-sychological health problems,calling attention to the old man's social intercourse ability,goo-d ability of social communication for the empty nest elderly,conducive to social relations,th-eir hands to have a good social contact circle,on the other hand,social status,will appear in the individual the emergence of depressive mood,felt very helpless,poor physical and mental problems easy cause disease,at present society,a lot of empty nest old man alone one persona-l life,not only the lack of basic care,and a lack of interpersonal communication and emotion-al support,prone to introverted,self closed state of mind,These problems gradually lead to d-ifficulties and obstacles in interpersonal communication and weak interpersonal skills in emp ty-nesters.At the same time,the field of social work service is also expanding.With the incre-asing proportion of empty-nesters,its professional helping methods are playing an increasing-ly important role in the field of the elderly.Based on this,this article takes X community as the research site,by adopting the combi-nation of quantitative and auxiliary,qualitative research methods,from the city empty nester skills of interpersonal ability to get along,human feelings and interpersonal control ability thr-ee aspects to carry on the analysis,to this group in interpersonal communication,summarized the problems that exist in the process of summary,discuss the ascension city empty nester skil-ls this group of the problem solving method,the countermeasure and the suggestion,finally discusses the social work intervention city empty nester interpersonal skills the possibility of ascension and applicable model,which helps the empty nest elderly in life have a stable social system,Continue to make friends and interact with each other to promote happiness in old age.In this study,the social development model was mainly adopted to carry out group work Inter-vention service,and the relevant interpersonal problems were investigated and analyzed by means of questionnaire and scale and the group effectiveness was evaluated.The ten empty-n esters were carried out a group activity consisting of brain training,role exchange,interperson-al discussion,sharing,cooperation and mutual help.The results showed that the group work had a significant effect on improving the interpersonal skills of urban empty-nesters.It is conc-luded that the main results are:(1)the empty nest elderly and not empty nest in establi-shing a good relationship attitude,emotional control ability,the attitude to solve the problem of cont-radiction,degree of digestion of negative events there is no obvious difference,but in life satisfaction,improve interpersonal attitude,interpersonal relationship degree of satisfaction,social tendency on significant differences between them.(2)the economic status of empty-nesters is positively correlated with the difficulty of improving interpersonal skills.(3)decreased trust in others is also one of the factors that hinder the communication of empty-nesters.(4)the living environment of empty-nesters will affect individuals' attitudes towards making friends.(5)without physical and mental care for a long time,if a person lives alone for a long time,his attitude towards communication will be in a declining state and positively correlated.Finally,this paper makes a reflection on the advantages and disadvantages of this social work intervention process,which has accumulated experience for practical intervention to improve the interpersonal skills of urban empty-nesters,and provides a reference for relevant research process.
