In the era of big data Internet,"Internet + crime" and "crime + Internet" are interwoven in the same structure.Traditional crimes such as gun trafficking present a network trend, and the cyberspace has become a high incidence area of gun crime.Online gun selling has broken the time-space limitation of traditional crime, which can be carried out not only in virtual space, but also in physical and virtual space at the same time.Criminal gangs do not have direct contact with buyers in the whole process of crime, and use long-distance non-contact means to contact and transact. As a result, criminal acts are hidden and criminal means are sophisticated, making it increasingly difficult to investigate and collect evidence.Evidence is the cornerstone of the facts of online gun trafficking and the center of the whole criminal procedure. Therefore, the timeliness, scientific nature and standardization of the investigation and collection of evidence in the case of online gun trafficking not only affect the success or failure and efficiency of the investigation, but also affect the smooth progress of the follow-up review, prosecution and trial activities. At the present stage, there are mainly some problems in the investigation and collection of evidence by public security organs, such as the high cost, insufficient motivation, low efficiency, single method and so on.Therefore,in order to put forward targeted solutions from the aspects of concept, system, method and mechanism, the author intends to make an in-depth analysis and summary of the above problems existing in the investigation and collection of evidence from the process of the crime of online gun trafficking. It is expected to be beneficial to the control of the crime of online gun trafficking.
