Human resources are the most active and remarkable resource in Universities.The development and application of human resource is essential to the continuous development of University,which plays strong roles on the disciplinary construction,talent training,etc.In recent years,human resource database became larger and larger;it is urgent need to develop tools to find important information quickly.The data mining technology can be used to find valuable information in university human resource database,which can provide a relatively objective design making support on teachers recruiting,training,promoting etc.Research on application of data mining technology in human resources database is becoming a hot issue.In this paper,application research on data mining technology in human resource management system,especially payroll management,has been carried out.Two tools have been developed,one to do association rule mining and the other to do abnormal data detection.These tools are useful in promoting the development of human resources management system(1)A University human resource data analysis tool for associate rule mining has been developed,which is implemented using the adoption of a multi-valued attribute mining algorithm based on association rules matrix.A database including 1,400 pieces of data has been tested by the developed tool.Results show the rules been checked out by this tool is of high reliability and practical.The information checked out by this developed tool can be referred in decision making on talent introduction,personnel training and salary level set,etc by University human resource department.(2)A University human resources data analysis tool for abnormal data detection has been developed,which is implemented by applying an anomaly data mining algorithm based on information entropy.A database including 2,700 pieces of data has been tested by the developed tool.Results shows anomaly data can be detected by this tool.The developed tool can be applied not only to find erroneous data in the human resources database,but also to find out other useful information,which can play a strong role on talent introduction and personnel training,etc.
