Rituals And Changes Of Uygur Wedding In Taranchi Village,Kumul,Xinjiang Province

As we all know,marriage is one of the basic forms of human society and marriage culture is also an important part of social culture.Wedding ceremony as a ritual expression of the marriage culture is not only one of the important ceremonies passed through in one's life,but also embodies the national traditional values to express a way of the establishing social relations.It may reflect the current local social and economic level as well as the symbolic system of cultural symbols,and even to some extent reflect the locality's cultural adaptation to the natural conditions.With the continuous progress of social modernization and the popularization and application of the Internet,people are receiving more and more new information and new cultural symbols.This makes the national culture increasingly impacted by the more intensive foreign culture and may lead to the culture Forms,symbols,and their meanings change to some degree.This paper focuses on the Kumul Uyghur Region of Xinjiang with the acceleration of the social modernization,the wedding customs of Uyghur also change.While adhering to certain traditions,many elements of other ethnic cultures are integrated,including clothing,music and places And so on.The change of these elements expresses the changing content of the wedding custom on the basis of the national style and tradition.The changing factors and forces behind the wedding custom deserve our discussion.This paper uses Taranchi of Kumul Uyghur Region of Xinjiang as an entry point,through the ethnography method to show the local Uighur wedding ceremony details.Discussing the Uighur residents of traditional elements in the ceremony of marriage customs of content and its change,tried to analyze the cause of the change,the essence and accordingly put forward the thinking of the protection of traditional culture.Through the demonstration of this case,we can understand the current situation of some traditional cultural changes in Uyghur society and understand the Uyghur people's cognitive attitude towards the transformation of modern society and the change of values under the impact of modern culture.
