Research On Employment Effect Of Service Industry Development In China

At present,the economic growth rate of our country is slowing down,and the number of new jobs is decreasing.Supply side structural reforms lead to structural unemployment increases,The pattern of economic growth has changed,the economic growth from the elements and investment-driven to innovation-driven transformation,makes the employment market competition further intensified.The 13th five-year plan clearly points out that promoting full employment as a priority target for economic and social development will focus on addressing structural unemployment and achieving better quality employment.Facing the current employment problem,we should promote employment growth through industrial development,and vigorously develop industries that attract a large number of labor force.The economic development of developed countries shows that the service sector is a "sponge" for the employment of the labor force,which can absorb a large number of workers and is an effective way to solve the employment problem.It is of great significance to analyze the impact of service industry on employment quantity and employment structure,as well as the difference between different regions and industries.This article from the perspective of factors influencing the development of service industry,theoretical analysis of the effect on employment services industry,combing the development of service industry on the basis of theoretical analysis.Expand the C-D production function,constructs the econometric model,using the 2003-2016 data of 31 provinces(municipalities)service industry,using feasible generalized least squares method(FGLS)empirical analysis service industry development and employment structure of the impact on the number of jobs,and gradually increase the explanatory variables and panel calibration standard error(PCSE)method inspection results of robustness.(1)analysis of employment quantity:The development of service industry has a significant effect on the employment of different regions and industries.The west's promotion is greater than that of the east and the middle.The promotion of non-producer services is greater than that of producer services.Fixed asset investment increased employment in the east and central regions,reducing the number of jobs in the western and productive services sectors.The impact on the employment of non-producer services is not significant.Technological progress has a significant positive effect on the employment Numbers of the three regions and the two major industries,and the promotion of the eastern and non-producer services is significant.Foreign direct investment plays a role in promoting employment in the three regions,and the east promotes the most.Wage increases have reduced employment in three major regions and producer services,and increased employment in non-producer services.The impact of urbanization on employment in three major regions and two major industries is not significant.(2)analysis of employment structure:The increase in the output of the service sector has inhibited the optimization of employment structure in the three regions.And western inhibition is the biggest.The employment structure of non-producer service industry is optimized.The impact on producer services is not significant.The increase of skilled labor force has a significant optimization effect on the employment structure of three major regions and two major industries.The optimization of its eastern and non-producer services is greater.Technological progress plays an optimized role in the employment structure of producer services.The optimization of employment structure in the western and non-productive service industries has the inhibitory effect.The effect on the east and the middle is not significant.The increase of wages has an optimized effect on the employment structure in the east and central regions.The impact on the west is not significant.Foreign direct investment has optimized the employment structure in the east.It has an inhibitory effect on the west.The effect on the middle is not significant.Fixed asset investment has inhibited the optimization of the employment structure in the east and central regions.And the central inhibition is greater than that in the east.The western employment structure is optimized.The effect of salary,foreign direct investment and fixed asset investment on the optimization of employment structure of the two industries is.different.Finally,combining the theoretical and empirical results,this paper puts forward some Suggestions on improving the employment capacity and optimizing the employment structure of China's service industry.
