ObjectivesTo know the stress reaction in the full-time postgraduate and its influencing factors,the professional commitment and its influencing factors;To explore the impact of stress reaction on professional commitment in the full-time postgraduate.MethodsMethods of cluster random sampling was used to investigate full-time postgraduates of a certain university in Henan with questionnaires.Demology characteristics,pedagogy characteristics and cultivation mode of the full-time postgraduate were research factors.The questionnaire of the Job Stress Survey and the Scale of Postgraduate Professional Commitment were used as investigation tools.1010 valid(93% valid)questionnaires were collected.Using SPSS 21.0 analysed data,? = 0.05.ResultsThe median score of JS-X in full-time postgraduates: the totality was 599.5,the male was greater than the female,the age > 25 group was greater than the age ? 25 group,the graduating grade was greater than the first grade,the medicine postgraduate was greater than the science and engineering and the humanity,the professional practice group was greater than the scientific research group and the combination group of scientific research and professional practice,the group without labor fee was greater than the group with labor fee(all P < 0.05).The score distribution of JS-X in full-time postgraduates: there were 564 postgraduates(55.84%)in the low stress degree group,439(43.47%)in the medium stress degree group and 7(0.69%)in the high stress degree group(this paper deleted “high stress degree group” in chi-square test and logistic regression analysis);Proportion of score in the medium stress degree group: the male was higher than the female,the age > 25 group was higher than the age ? 25 group,the medicine postgraduate was higher than the humanity,the group without labor fee was higher than the group with labor fee(all P < 0.05).Logistic regression analysis of the stress degree in full-time postgraduates: sex,professional category,whether with labor fee were into the equation,compared with the female,the male tended to be at medium stress degree [OR 95%CI(0.414,0.726)],compared with the humanity postgraduate,the medicine tended to be at medium stress degree[OR 95%CI(0.474,0.929)],compared with the group with labor fee,the group without labor fee tended to be at medium stress degree[OR CI(0.474,0.929)](all P < 0.01).The median score of professional commitment in full-time postgraduates: the totality was 77,the second grade and the graduating grade were lower than the first grade,the science and engineering postgraduate was lower than the medicine and the humanity,the non-fresh undergraduate group was lower than the fresh undergraduate group,the non-cross-profession postgraduate group was lower than the cross-profession group,the scientific research group was lower than the combination of scientific research and professional practice group,the medium stress degree group was lower than the low stress degree group(all P < 0.05).The distribution of professional commitment score in full-time postgraduates: there were 617 postgraduates(61.09%)in the low professional commitment level group,393(38.91%)in the high professional commitment level group;Proportion of score in low professional commitment level group: the second grade and the graduating grade were higher than the first grade,the science and engineering postgraduate was higher than the medicine,the science degree group was higher than the professional degree group,the scientific research group was higher than the combination group of scientific research and professional practice,the medium stress degree group was higher than the low stress degree group(all P < 0.05).Logistic regression analysis of the professional commitment level in full-time postgraduates: profession category,whether cross-profession postgraduate,the arrange and the stress degree were into the equation,compared with the medicine postgraduate,the science and engineering tended to be at low professional commitment level[OR 95%CI(1.363,2.527)],compared with the cross-profession postgraduate,the non-profession tended to be at low professional commitment level[OR 95%CI(0.437,0.906)],compared with the combination group of scientific research and professional practice,the scientific research group tended to be at low professional commitment level[OR 95%CI(1.110,1.967)],compared with the low stress degree group,the medium stress degree group tended to be at low professional commitment level[OR 95%CI(0.477,0.814)](all P < 0.05).ConclusionsFull-time postgraduates were at the low stress degree.The male,the medicine,and the group without labor fee tended to be at medium stress degree.Full-time postgraduates were at the low professional commitment level.The science and engineering,the non-cross-profession postgraduate,the scientific research group and the medium stress degree group tended to be at low professional commitment level.
