Colleges undertake the significant historical mission of cultivating qualified constructors and reliable successors for socialism.Through the teaching of ideological and political theory courses,undergraduates can master the basic principle and methods of Marxism,establish correct world outlook,life outlook and value and establish a solid ideological basis for their growth.In this way,the teaching objectives of ideological and political theory courses can be realized.Ideological and political theory courses are the main channel and front for colleges to conduct ideological and political education,so it is of great significance to carry out investigation and research about their effectiveness.This article investigates the teaching status quo of ideological and political theory courses in nine colleges distributed in three areas of Beijing,Shandong and Jiangxi and analyzes the status quo of their effectiveness.Meanwhile,based on actual conditions in colleges,countermeasures and suggestions with relatively strong pertinence and practicality are proposed so that colleges can carry out the teaching reform in ideological and political theory courses.What's more,theoretical guidelines and decision-making basis are provided for colleges to implement and carry out the spirit of Xi Jinping's series speeches about ideological and political jobs in colleges and formulate policies for enhancing and improving ideological and political jobs in colleges and the development of ideological and political theory courses.This article is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the background and significance of the topic,summarizes and analyzes the current status quo of researches about the effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses in home and abroad,meanwhile tidies up its research idea and approach.The second part carries out comprehensive and in-depth investigations about the teaching status quo of ideological and political theory courses for college undergraduates through questionnaires,in-depth interviews.It elaborates the investigation objectives,investigation methods,questionnaire design,credibility analysis,sample determination and so on.The third part conducts comprehensive and in-depth analysis about the effectiveness status quo of ideological and political theory courses in colleges from several aspects,including undergraduates' understanding about the objectives of ideological and political theory courses,their mastering about the teaching contents,evaluation about the teaching effects and factors influencing the effectiveness of the current ideological and political theory courses.The fourth part is targeted at the results of the investigation and analysisand puts forward related countermeasures and suggestions about improving the effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses.The ideological and political theory courses in colleges should stick to correct political directions and the leadership of CCP,continuously innovate teaching methods and improve students' learning interest and positivity.The teaching of ideological and political theory courses should have a close connection with students' reality and put attention to solve their ideological problems,meanwhile reinforce the affinity of teachers during their teaching about ideological and political theory courses.Besides,the development of modern technologies requires us to adopt multiple approaches and methods and make full use of modern new media in the teaching of ideological and political theory courses.In this modern society with informatization and network,internet management should be strengthened in order to create a healthy campus network environment.
