Teachers are the disseminators of civilization as well as the symbols of social civilization.Respecting teachers is an important symbol of modern civilized society.Besides,it is the true touchstone for whether focusing on education or not and the touchstone for social civilization.China has thousands of years of tradition for respecting teachers and valuing education.However,in recent years,campus bullying and campus violence on teachers are happening with increasing frequency.The campus bullying has aroused great importance of the government,and which are being addressed.However,the campus violence on teachers hasn't attracted the wide attention from the society.In addition,few studies about the campus violence on teachers have been done in the theories field.Under the background of managing education by law today,the lawful right and interests of every equal subjects should be protected.It is the proposition of the new epoch that how to better protect the rights and the lives of the teachers.Many researchers have been writing articles and making suggestions in order to protect the rights of the students.Moreover,the state has issued relevant policies to prevent the campus violence.A special kind of campus violence,which is different with the ordinary ones,is continuing to appear in the news that the elementary and middle school students and their parents attack and even kill the teachers.Suddenly,some teachers become vulnerable groups,and which arouse people's wide concern.The problem reflects the immaturity of the students.Besides,the lack of family education of teenagers,improper way of education of the teachers and exam oriented education together cause the violence.This paper focuses on the study of the campus violence on teachers of elementary and middle school.Based on 103 real cases,the basic characteristics of the violence is analysed and known.Then,various reasons are analysed.In order to tap the deep-seated root causes of the violence,interviewing method is also used.Finally,on the basis of analyzing the overseas experience,the thoughts aimed to prevent the violence are proposed.The author mainly adopts the case analysis method to analyze all the 103 real cases from many aspects such as the entire distribution of all the cases,the general characters of the perpetrators,the general characters of attacked teachers,and the general characters of the violence problems among others.Besides,in order to know about the opinions of the teachers in service and more real cases which are surrounding them and never made public,several teachers in service are interviewed.The overall characteristics of the violence on teachers are as follows:the main body of the violence in primary school is the parents;in middle school,the students become the main bodies;male violators are more than women;the attacked teachers are mainly class sponsors and teachers for subjects;the violence happens mainly on campus;pure limb attack is the main form of the violence;with regard to the results of the violence,the administrative mediation gives the first place when the consequences are not serious;the judicial involvement is given priority when the consequences are serious;whether the consequences are serious or not,the violators are not severely punish;media reports are usually have a head without tail,and few ones can trail the violence;besides,the media reports are short of deep analysis and reflection on the violence;the violence gives a rising trend in general.This paper tries to analyze the reasons of the violence on teachers in primary and middle schools from directly and indirectly.The direct reasons are the superficial reasons,which shows in several aspects such as the students,the teachers,the families and the society.To be more detailed,they includes congenital violence heredity,the weak legal idea,the lack or the impropriety of the home education,the low quality of teachers,the improper methods of management,the excessive attention to the intellectual education and little to moral education,the lack of the mechanisms for preventing and processing the violence,the overcare for the students of the policy and the rendering of violence culture.With regard to the countermeasures of the violence problems,many countermeasures are proposed and discussed detailedly,which are on the basis of analyzing the overseas experience and the concrete conditions of our country.The countermeasures includes that the social status of teachers should be enhanced.Based on that the teacher-student relationship should be reconstructed,the teacher's dignity should be remold is firstly proposed.Based on strengthening legislative construction,we firstly present the opinion of establishing the education court and punishing the violators severely.Based on the overseas experience,the registration system of the violence on teachers should be built.Besides,it is necessary to strengthen cultural prevention and control.
