With the acceleration of urbanization in China,the number of migrants is increasing day by day.From the very beginning,the flow of one person has gradually entered the state of carrying together wives and children,and carrying the old and young.Parents of migrant children are under pressure from their livelihoods and do not have the time or energy to look after their children.They can only hand over the children to their ancestors for care and nurture.Compared with parenting,intergenerational education will have more or less problems.Pre-school migrant children are at a critical period of physical and mental development.Good family education plays a crucial role in the development of migrant children’s abilities in all aspects.Therefore,the issue of intergenerational parenting of migrant children should be highly valued by the entire society.This article takes the ancestors of the 8 migrant children in the largest community of village inside city,Kunming,as the main research object.Qualitative research is used as the main research method.Data are collected through questionnaires,unstructured interviews,and participatory observations to discover migrant children.The problems existing in intergenerational rearing education mainly include the following points: First,the concept of parenting of the floating children is more traditional;second,the parenting content of the floating children is relatively single;third,the parenting style of the floating children is not scientific.In view of the above-mentioned problems of floating children’s intergenerational education,the author tried to improve the existing problems of intergenerational rearing and education of floating children by carrying out 7 educational group activities,thereby improving the parenting ability of migrant children.Through case discussions,melodrama plays,videos,games,picture books,etc.,within the group,the team members are made aware of the unreasonable parenting attitudes and parenting styles that have adversely affected the child’s growth,and assist the team members in updating their parenting concepts.Improve their own parenting styles,while enriching their education content,focusing on cultivatingchildren’s self-care ability,early reading ability,hobbies,etc.The author through the group before and after the test results analysis,group assessment form records analysis,social workers’ observational record analysis,group member children’s feedback and other aspects of the assessment can be learned that the group work involved in floating children across the generations of the practice of research on education has a certain Effectiveness.Through participating in group activities,the parenting ability of migrant children has been improved.
