The Paper takes the students of grade 6 from Pongsiriwitthaya School in Thailand as the object,mainly investigated how the “Focus on Meaning” & “Focus on Form”influenced the students' oral output diversity on language contents and forms under the conditions that the students were under junior Mandarin Level;their interests and motivation on Chinese are weak.Under such circumstance,the Chinese teacher,in the light of Communication Method,adopted “Focus on Meaning”-this approach in communicative classes.However,many problems of the learners in communicative output was found.Afterwards the Chinese teacher attempted to apply “Focus on the Form” as the main approach in communicative class and further study on the influence and other effects on helping the learners absorb the oral language materials,and research on whether it has any positive impacts on the learners communicative output diversity.The Chinese teacher put on teaching experiments in two Grade-6 classes and adopted the instructions of “Focus on Meaning” & ”Focus on the Form” respectively in the two classes-one control class and one experimental class;set the topic of “How are you?” as the target experimental content.In the two classes,the communicative method was the leading construction method.In the class of “Focus on Meaning”,the Chinese Teacher never focused on teaching language forms,but practice the “meaningful” mock communication activities.In the class of “Focus on Form”,the Chinese Teacher turned the students' attention to the language forms and required the students answer the question”How are you?” using the Preemptive FonF given by the Teacher.After the same hours of teaching,the Teacher collected the data from two different post-tests and get the data through statistics software and analyzed the data with both qualitative and quantitative patterns.The result shows that 1)Focus on “Meaning” and “Form” both has positive impact on testees' internalization of the oral knowledge;2)Focus on Form has slight advantage over Focus on Meaning on examinee' oral output diversity on language forms.Compared with the control group,the experimental group has two more“Difficult forms” output by testees in the Post-Test 2-1;3)Focus on Form had better impact on content diversity than Focus on Meaning.There were one more “content”output by experimental group than control group in Post-Test 2-2.At last,regarding to the experiment and results,based on students' own characteristics,the Teacher proposed some suggestions to help students to increase language output diversity and improve the oral language complexity in communication.
