With the continuous development of society and the improvement of people’s living standard,more and more people pay attention to participating in sports activities and strengthening physical exercise.The proportion of physical education is increasing in all grade examinations,which is the reason why physical education becomes the focus.The teaching in physical education,especially the time management of teaching,has always been a long-term concern by physical educators.College physical education plays an important role in developing students’ interest in sports,enhance their physical quality,and enable them to develop lifelong sports awareness.As a basic general course in Chinese university,physical education takes an important place in curriculum system of Chinese universities.The author analyzes the teaching time management of college physical education course from three dimensions: related policies of national university sports,characteristics construction of physical education class and teaching management of physical education class,in order to improve the quality of college physical education and students’ learning efficiency,as well as promote the formation of lifelong sports consciousness.The author aims to use the method of literature research,survey procedure,mathematical statistics and logical analysis to study the teaching time management of college physical education curriculum.This thesis attempts to take the time management in three dimensions as an approach to investigate the teaching time management of physical education in four universities in Kaifeng City.The author has observed and recorded the time distribution of college physical education courses in the four universities in Kaifeng City by the SOFIT record table.Besides,the author records the time distribution of each part of the sports class.Based on the investigation,the following results can be drawn:(1)The time management consciousness of the teachers and students in universities of Kaifeng is at the middle level.The teachers have a great performance in time management consciousness,time management behavior and class time distribution.Students can also realize the importance of time management,and have a sense of time and the consciousness of cherishing time.They can actively cooperate with teachers to finish the management of time in the classroom better.(2)The teachers of the universities in Kaifeng City have insufficient control of time.In the face of the occurrence of emergencies,most teachers cannot handle well and waste the time of class.(3)The sports teachers with fewer years spent teaching and lower professional title show a lower level of time management in class.They have little experience,and lower-level of the knowledge of time management and the teaching level.(4)According to the time distribution of the various indexes of the sports class environment,the arrangement of the teaching time of the physical education in the universities in Kaifeng is reasonable,but the time of the teacher’s explanation is too much,which reduces the time for the students to practice.(5)The level of students’ physical activity in universities in Kaifeng needs further improvement.Based on the above conclusions,the suggestions for improving the teaching time management of college physical education curriculum can be put forward:(1)In order to improve teachers’ consciousness of time management of college physical education,teachers should fully grasp the law of class time according to different teaching tasks.The consciousness of teaching time management should be run through the whole class.Reasonable time allocation is the key of time management.Teachers should summarize the experience of class time management and improve it constantly,so as to optimize the sense of time management in class.(2)Teachers should plan in detail before class,organize the content of classroom teaching reasonably,design the teaching link of the classroom scientifically,and arrange the teaching activities carefully.Teachers also should adjust class time according to specific teaching contents,summarize time management experience in time,and apply it to later class time management.(3)Physical education teachers should have a high sense of responsibility,pay close attention to the integrated development of students,renew their teaching ideas and improve their teaching ability.They need reasonable arrangement of limited teaching time and careful design of each lesson as well,so that they can know every link in the class and improve the effectiveness of physical education.(4)Teachers should practice more carefully,and allocate time based on proper proportion of three major links: physical exercise,sports skills and exercise load in physical education curriculum according to the actual situation.According to the difference of sports events,teachers should properly adjust the time of physical exercise so as to make the sports load meet certain requirements and improve the physical quality of students.(5)To ensure the time and intensity of the students’ physical education class,teachers can change teaching strategy,reasonably allocate the time of every link of teaching,increase the time of physical exercise.Besides,they can promote students to exercise regularly in class and outside class by using encouraging language in class.
