The Design And Implementation Of Intelligent Question Answering System On MOOC Platform

Massive open online course(hereafter referred as "MOOC")refers to the large-scale online open course,which is the most popular online teaching mode in recent years.Question answering of teaching is an important part of education feedback and with the development of science and technology,intelligent question answering system has became a new trend.Nowadays,the MOOC platform can achieve a complete teaching process including courseware,video,homework,interactive discussion,examinations,and certificate' of conformity but lack of intelligent question answering sessions.This paper uses artificial intelligence technology to expand the function of the MOOC platform and designs a intelligent question answering system.In this MOOC platform,students can study video lesson,test online,discuss online,evaluate homework mutually and others through the platform.Teachers can publish and edit courses as well as answering students' questions in the discussion forum through the platform.And Administrators can set permission for teachers and students,publish class schedules and so on.In addition to participating in the development of MOOC platform,this research focuses on the design of intelligent question answering system based on the research of MOOC platform and intelligent question answering at home and abroad.It realizes the natural language understanding of the students' problems and extracts the keywords,carries out the semantic similarity analysis in the knowledge base,and provides the answers to the students in the end;if no corresponding answers are found in the knowledge base,the system will grasp the answer to the problem with the Web Spider and the natural language will be generated and presented to the students.This research uses open the source edx to build a MOOC platform and the artificial intelligence technology to build the intelligent question answering system when participating in the MOOC platform development.The main feature is the combination of artificial intelligence technology and MOOC,so that every education part of MOOC can be achieved very well.
