As early as the 1990 s,the concept of fitness emerged,which was mainly derived from the concepts of "health" and "physique".The concept of physical fitness is comprehensive and can evaluate the physical,physiological and physical functions of the human body.Nowadays,people's economic level and quality of life is on the rise,the body health is become the most concern,the contemporary college students as the future of the country and its physical quality but also everybody attaches great importance to the problem.University period is the main body growth and development period,all aspects of the human body function in this period have been the perfect,and the stage of the body will cause great impact on college students' development,this problem has become a focus on the world of sports research problem.As tennis boom has its own advantages and charm,and tennis tennis in the colleges and universities gradually spread and became an indispensable sports,so tennis movement's influence on college students' health has attracted the attention of a great people,although there have been some research in the field,but very few studies combined with fitness.Therefore,this paper studies this topic,so as to provide a scientific theoretical basis for college students to participate in tennis to improve their health fitness.The effects of tennis on college students' physical fitness were analyzed by means of literature review,experimental analysis and mathematical statistics.The subjects of this study were 26 students who took tennis courses in the third year of non-physical education major of shandong university of physical education,including12 males and 14 females.This experiment mainly tests the relevant indicators of fitness of healthy body,and USES independent sample T test to conduct comparative statistical analysis on the changes of fitness indicators of healthy body before and after participating in tennis.After 16 weeks of tennis training,the measurement and analysis of 26 students before and after the experiment found that there was a significant change.In terms of body shape,only female students' WHR decreased significantly(P <0.05),while otherindicators also changed,but the change was not obvious,and there was no statistical significance before and after the data(P>0.05).Body composition: the body fat percentage of girls relative to boys fell more obviously(P < 0.05),body composition on indicators,boys and girls of lean body mass,muscle weight has increased significantly(P < 0.05),one of the girls fat weight has decreased obviously(P < 0.05);Muscle fitness,flexible fitness aspects: boys and girls left back force,right hand grip strength,grip strength difference has a significant change(P < 0.05),muscular endurance,endurance of boys and girls have improved(P < 0.05),and the boy's explosive(standing long jump)has increased greatly(P < 0.05),flexible,boys and girls have some improvement,but no statistical significance;Cardiopulmonary fitness:the subjects' lung activity and maximal oxygen uptake were significantly increased(P<0.05),indicating that cardiopulmonary function was improved and exercise ability was enhanced.After 16 weeks of tennis training,the waist-hip ratio of girls dropped significantly.The muscle mass of male and female students was significantly increased,and the fat content of female students was less and more obvious than that of male students.The dorsal strength,right hand grip strength,muscle endurance and lower limb explosive strength of male and female students were all significantly improved,but their flexibility was not significantly changed.The cardiopulmonary function of male and female students has been greatly improved.
