A Study On Guiding Service To Promote The Development Assets Of Adolescents In Urban Poor Families

The problem of poverty has been widely concerned by all walks of life.Shichahai Street in Xicheng District of Beijing cooperates with the Center for the Development of Social work in Beijing in order to implement the idea of "precision poverty alleviation" put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour in Xiangxi Prefecture,Hunan Province in November 2013.A learning partner guide service project has been developed to provide service to young people from poor families in Shichahai street of Xicheng District.Taking the "study partner" guide service project of Beijing Zhongqing Social work Development Center as an example,26 young people from urban poor families who participated in the project were selected as the research objects,and the qualitative research method was adopted.Through the interviews with these participants,this study found that after participating in the guided service,young people from poor families received external support resources,gave them restrictions and expectations,invested in their studies,established positive values and social abilities.The positive identity has been promoted,which proves the effectiveness of guide service in improving adolescent development assets.In addition,this study summarizes the successful experience of guide service,which selects the guide strictly.The scientific arrangement of service frequency and service content,the management and regular training of guide ensure the quality of guide service,and at the same time,this study also summarizes the shortcomings of guide service.If the age difference of the recipient is not taken into account,the quality of service will be affected,the match between the guide and the guide will need to be strengthened,and the site needs further scientific zoning and planning.Service channels need to be further broadened to ensure that the number of service can meet the requirements.On this basis,combined with the practice of the researcher,the author puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of the guide service,suggests that the guide service expand the scope of the guide recruitment,and strengthen the matching degree between the guide and the guide based on the demand.Reasonable planning of service venues to provide a good service environment,expand service channels to ensure service times.
