The social phenomenon of women being discriminated against and oppressed is a historical and universal problem.The feminist thought of Juliet Mitchell,born in the second wave of female movement,plays an important role in promoting the development of feminism in the world.Created by Mitchell "woman: the longest revolution",the proceedings of her feminist thought is expounded,at the same time the book was seen as a programmatic document of the second wave of women's movement.The feminist thought of Mitchell is based on the absorption of traditional feminism to analyze the causes of female oppression,and to explore how to realize the general idea of female emancipation.The historical materialism of Marxist's theory is inherited,and the female problem is analyzed and solved by economic theory and class concept.In her opinion,the reasons for the oppression of women were not only the economic factors emphasized in Marxist's theory,but also one of the important reasons for the enslavement of women.So she put forward production,fertility,sex,and child socialization as four kinds of structure of oppression of women,and children's socialization is put forward to realize the emancipation of women must be the transformation of the whole structure of "four",if just change one structure alone,for women's liberation are of no help.Mitchell's feminist thought has provided theoretical reference for the theoretical research of female problems,and also provided a solution for the problems of contemporary female development.In view of the current economic development in our country,the new situation in combination with Mitchell's feminist thoughts,will be more clearly China women in such aspects as economy,politics,culture and d emand situation,help to promote women's liberation in our country in the new development of the new era.
