With the demand of social development and the promotion of quality education,senior students' career planning education has received widely attention.It is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of career planning education,especially the motivation of career planning goals for students' learning.Most of previous research on goals focused on goal orientation,discussed the impact of different aims and reasons on learning.however,they have been less involved in the psychological distance of the goal.In addition,previous studies are less involved in the impact of the career goal of high school students on their learning behavior.The research takes the psychological distance as the breakthrough point to investigate the impact of the the college entrance examination goal and the career goal(they are all belong to ones' career planning goals))on academic involvement.And it also discuss the influence mechanism of the college entrance examination goal and the career goal on academic involvement with taking the academic self-efficacy and self-control as an intermediary variable.The research will be studied on the characteristics of the profession goal and the college entrance examination goal,and the direct effect between psychological distance of the goal and academic involvement,further test the multiple mediating effect of self-efficacy and self-control between psychological distance and academic involvement.the research used questionnaires method,conducted among 675 senior school students in Ningbo,the main results are as follows:(1)There is a significant difference between the psychological distance of senior student' college entrance examination goal and the psychological distance of career goal.The psychological distance and the temporal distance of the college entrance examination goal is significantly higher than that of the career goal.There is no significant difference between the probability of the college entrance examination goal and the psychological distance of the career goal.(2)Both of the psychological distance of the college entrance examination goal and the career goal do exist significant differences in grade.Both of the psychological distance of the college entrance examination and the career goal in the first grade is significantly higher than the second grade and the third grade,and the second grade is significantly higher than the the third grade.The psychological distance of the goal is influenced by the objective distance.(3)There is a significant negative correlation between the psychological distance of the college entrance examination goal and career goal and academic involvement.(4)The psychological distance of the college entrance examination goal could affect academic involvement through the mediation of the academic self-efficacy and self-control.The mediation effect contained two paths: the seperate mediation of academic self-efficacy and self-control,and the serial effect of academic self-efficacy and self-control.The mediatino effect of self-control changes with grades.(5)The psychological distance of the career goal could affect academic involvement through the mediation of the academic self-efficacy.The mediation effect contained two paths: the seperate mediation of academic self-efficacy and self-control,and the serial effect of academic self-efficacy and self-control.The mediatino effect of self-control changes with grades.In summary,This study helps to understand the relationship between career planning goals and academic involvementt of senior students,and provides practical guidance to the career planning courses.
