As the most popular mobile communication software at the moment,WeChat expresses the external value of social communication through its unique mode of communication,and its communication method has also been widely accepted by all,which forming a huge user base already.On the other hand,WeChat is now a national mobile social APP.The WeChat circle of friends has become a new platform for university students to express their feelings and emotions.It can maintain their interpersonal relationships.It has also broadened people's real interaction space and built a personal social network in another way.In WeChat's circle of friends,users are accustomed to interacting with various online media symbols such as text,pictures,expressions,and small videos,relying on the social uniqueness of the WeChat circle of friends,and creating new changes in the self-representation of individuals.Everyone can give full play to the idea of decoration and dress up,display the colorful elements of life in a circle of friends,and make it a unique "performance area."This study takes Goffman's self-representation as a theoretical perspective,and the college student's WeChat circle of friends as its theme.It combines communication theory,psychology,and other relevant theories,and using a questionnaire survey,in-depth interviews and other methods to specifically analyze the WeChat circle of friends as The characteristics of the stage of self-presentation explored the influence of college students' behavior in the circle of friends on their personal behavior and interpersonal relationships.The study found that: In terms of personal influence,college students can strengthen self-identity through self-representation,but at the same time,they are prone to fall into the quagmire of over-presentation.In terms of influence on interpersonal relationships,the interaction of college students in a circle of friends contributes to acquaintanceship in reality.However,the existence of a large number of "universal relationships" has caused overloading of human relationships and has caused social fatigue among college students.
