With the development of economy and society,vocational education plays an increasingly important role in national development.Especially in higher vocational colleges,it bears the responsibility of training professional talents.It puts the training and professional development of teachers in an important position.Apprenticeship is widely used in industry training and skill inheritance.It is also a common measure to help teachers develop professionally at home and abroad,and a common way of teacher training in China.Apprenticeship plays an irreplaceable role in helping new teachers to master the education laws quickly,to adapt to the new environment and to change their roles.With the continuous development of vocational education and the increasing attention of the country,the requirements for vocational education teachers are also keeping pace with the times.This study adopts literature analysis,case analysis and interview methods to analyze the current situation,problems and attribution of apprenticeship in the development of new teachers in higher vocational colleges.This part also probes into the apprenticeship strategy of promoting the professional development of the new teachers.The paper is composed of the following parts:The introduction is mainly about research questions and the significance.In this part,the related concepts are defined.The research methodsand the literature review of teacher professional development and apprenticeship system are also introduced in this section.The first part makes a theoretical analysis of teacher professional development and apprenticeship,including the description of apprenticeship in teacher induction education,the demand for new teachers' professional development in higher vocational colleges,and the role of apprenticeship in the development of new teachers in higher vocational colleges.The second part mainly elaborates the establishment and implementation of school apprenticeship system,broadly discussed apprenticeship as a system in schools is how to establish and implement,including teacher selection,master-apprentice relationship establishment,guidance contents and guidance,evaluation and incentive system etc..The third part mainly analyzes the effective operation of the apprenticeship system based on the realistic level.Starting from the implementation of apprenticeship system in the development of new teachers in a vocational college in Chongqing,analyzes the role and problems of apprenticeship in the development of new teachers in higher vocational colleges.The fourth part,according to the current situation of the implementation of apprenticeship system in the professional development of new teachers in a vocational college in Chongqing,puts forward suggestions from four aspects: system perfection,practice implementation,guarantee mechanism and cultural construction.The conclusion part is a description of the significance and deficiency of this study.
