In recent years,with the improvement of China's comprehensive national strength,Teaching Chinese as a foreign Language(TCSOL)has also gradually followed up and flourished.However,there are still many problems in the teaching methods of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language that affect its development.This article based on the achievements of Teaching English as a Foreign Language,explores the feasibility of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language teaching method by applying the Scaffolding Instruction theory.As Teaching English as a Foreign Language,Teaching Chinese as a foreign Language is also a second language teaching.The "Scaffolding Instruction" theory has great achievements in the teaching English as a second language.Based on these achievements,the article explores whether the "instructional scaffolding" theory is adaptable in Chinese teaching of Thai and the existing problems.Meanwhile,we explorers which one is better between "teacher-student" scaffolding and the "student-student" scaffolding type in Chinese teaching of Thai.The study proved that: the "teacher-student" scaffolding theory is more effective than the "student-student" scaffolding;the "teacher-student" and "student-student" hybrid scaffolding is more suitable for the Chinese classroom teaching of Thai pupils.This article is divided into six parts.The first part,based on domestic and foreign researches on the "instructional scaffolding",introduces the research and development status of the "instructional scaffolding" theory in the second language classroom teaching,and the innovation and significance of the research.The second part introduces the definition and theoretical basis of the "instructional scaffolding" theory and related theories,deepened understanding of "instructional scaffolding" theory.The third part explorers the "instructional scaffolding" theory is the feasible in Chinese teaching of Thailand.Because the characteristics of "instructionalscaffolding" theory suits Thai primary school students' and it can solve the shortcomings of cramming method of Chinese teaching of Thai.The fourth part introduces the application of "teacher-student" scaffolding,"student-student" scaffolding,"teacher-student" and "student-student" hybrid scaffolding.The fifth part explored that the "instructional scaffolding" theory is applicable in Chinese teaching of Thai.And analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of “teacher-student” scaffolding,"student-student" scaffolding.The sixth part introduces the conclusion of the thesis,found that the "teacher-student" scaffolding is more effective than the "student-student" scaffolding;the "teacher-student" and "student-student" hybrid scaffolding are more suitable for the Chinese classroom teaching of Thai pupils.
