Since the release of "core Competence of Chinese students" in 2016,how to develop the core quality of students and how to effectively evaluate the core quality of students has become the focus of people's attention.The activities of xinghua international youth science and technology games show the innovative ideas and contents worthy of in-depth study in the cultivation and evaluation of students' core qualities of science and technology.This paper aims at developing the core accomplishment of students' science and technology,and studies the educational value of xinghua international youth science and technology games.Based on his evaluation model as the research framework and tools,according to the students to develop the core quality of the People's Republic of China according to the reality of the science and technology activities,youth science and technology put forward the core accomplishment of nine basic elements: happy good,diligently reflection,information consciousness,rational thinking,critical questions,have the courage to explore,labor consciousness,problem solving and applied technology,based on the core competence scale preparation of youth science and technology.In xinghua international youth science and technology Olympics contestants of questionnaire and interview,using the questionnaire data quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis method of combining the interview results,contestants core accomplishment of science and technology development of information and the relevant background.The study found that students' participation in science and technology games can cultivate practical ability,develop thinking ability,experience frustration education,enhance communication and cooperation ability,and increase scientific interest.The average level of science and technology core competence of middle school students is higher than that of primary school students,and the individual difference is small.Primary and middle school students have poor performance in "critical questioning",and elementary school students also perform poorly in "diligent reflection" and "information awareness".Contestants on the participation in sports science and technology is not only the core accomplishment of science and technology development of good effect,in the universities of science and technology learning atmosphere,guide the way of teachers' education and player parents have positive influence on children education concept.The author puts forward four Suggestions for the problems found in the research process: 1.Strengthen mentor training before the game;2.Focus on the education concept of the technology games;3.Cooperate to develop quality competition projects;4.Avoid "three minutes of heat".
