Engineering education is for the construction of an innovative country and talent strategy,and experimental teaching is an important part of teaching in engineering education,which directly influences the students' mastery of theoretical knowledge and practical ability.In order to realize the transformation from a big country of engineering education to a powerful country of engineering education,colleges and universities must take engineering education as the main line and focus on the cultivation of students' practical ability and innovative ability.However,the target orientation of engineering talents training in China is not clear,which makes engineering education divorced from practice.On the other hand,the experiment teaching of colleges and universities in China have been ignored,the preparation of teaching plan is the theory and practice of light weight,most of the experimental course is only limited to the theory and practice of classroom demonstration experiment also appeared more and more academic misconduct.Therefore,how to use digital information to improve the quality of higher experimental education,to stop the academic misconduct in the experimental class,so as to improve the quality of higher education,is a subject worthy of study.The integration of information technology and experimental teaching is an effective way to implement the reform of experimental teaching.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the application of information technology in experimental teaching.Face recognition is one of the main directions of human biometric recognition technology.Compared with other biometric recognition methods,face recognition has many advantages,such as initiative,non aggression and user friendliness.On the other hand,the face recognition has good visualization and low development cost,so these advantages make the face recognition technology in many biometric recognition technology attracted much attention.This paper mainly focuses on the development of experimental teaching management system based on face recognition technology,and develops a new experimental teaching management system according to the related technology of face recognition.This system not only realizes the traditional experimental teaching data management,but also innovates on the basis of account password authentication identity,which increases the verification function of face recognition.Face recognition authentication application in Experiment Teaching in the experiment process can automatically capture the experimenters,upload the test report and the experimental data can be carried out to verify the identity of face recognition,and effectively reduce the academic misconduct during the experiment.On the other hand,through statistical analysis of the captured image in the experiment process,the experimental teaching experience can be summed up,which can further improve the teaching quality.The system has been tested and tested in the computer experimental center of Guangzhou College of South China University of Technology.Through the function verification test of several teachers and students,the correctness of the system design method is verified.The system has the basic function of the experimental teaching management system.On the whole,the system is easy to operate,good function,high scalability,can be applied to the experimental teaching in Colleges and universities.Through this system,it can enhance the classroom effect of experimental teaching in Colleges and universities,mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of students,and further improve the teaching quality of higher education.
