From the end of the 15th century to the end 17th century,England science and technology led the world.The development of technology is particularly prominent,and the inheritance of technology is mostly through apprenticeship.When the church was in the dominant position,science was regarded as a heresy,and hard to exist in formal education.After the Reformation,aristocracies were gradually interested in science,and introduced science into school.England science and technology were developed rapidly from the end of the 15th century to the end 17th century,science and technology education in English was in their germination and exploration stage then,which was of great significance to England technology development and dissemination in 18th and 19th century.Literature method was used in this study,the development of science and technology education in England are explored in the aspects of politics,economy,culture,science and technology.This study includes six parts which as follows:In the Introduction,the research status and effects of science and technology education from the end of the 15th century to the end 17th century were introduced.In the first chapter,the historical background of the education in England from the end of the 15th century to the end 17th century was analyzed.Stable political environment would provide fertile soil for the germination of science and technology education.The rapid development of the economy would raise the demand for education,which lead the transformation of traditional education.The accumulation of scientific and technological knowledge provided the teaching content for the expansion of technology education.The transformation of cultural thought would accelerate the development of science and technology education.In the second chapter,the diversity and multi-level of England science and technology education were analyzed.During the two centuries,England science and technology education were not merged;different vocations needed different technical education.At this time,England was a country with distinct hierarchical government system,different class had its own appeal or interest in science and technology education.The new capitalist class donated schools to meet their own needs,and education of these schools included science and technology education,whereas the college education developed relatively slow.In 17th century,academic societies mainly appeared for the dissemination of science,during which science and technology education was gradually formed.In chapter three,the developments of education in science and technology from the end of the 15th century to the end 17th century were analyzed.Bacon played an important role in the history of British science,and his scientific method changed the teaching method of education.In addition,sensationalists had their own views on technology education.In the fourth chapter,the effect of science and technology education from the end of the 15th century to the end 17th century on England development was analyzed,and its references to Chinese science and technology education were discussed.
