The characteristics of history course are a long span of time,varied contents and a wide range.So to speak,history courses contain all kinds of things across the world from ancient time to now.As a new kind of course,junior history ‘s course system has strong comprehensiveness.In class,the quantity of teacher’s output information is huge,but student’s input in the spare time is limited.Therefore,in the study of this subject,it is very important to realize efficient class in limited time.However,in the background of new curriculum reform,efficient class study not only means listening carefully,reciting actively,what’s more important is learning to take and use notes.Taking notes is an important strategy and learning skill for students and junior school stage is the critical period for students to learn and use this strategy.To some extent,student’s learning effectiveness depends on their ability of taking notes.Based on previous research,this paper does a study on note’s taking and using and Investigates student’s note-taking and using current situation of junior school history.This study mainly includes the following aspects.First,it sets forth the meaning of “notes before class”,“notes in class ”and “notes after class”.It introspects the problems by investigating student’s note-taking and using current situation of junior school history and affirms the importance of note-taking in history study.Second,I did a questionnaire survey: investigated 300 junior students and interviewed 6teachers from Yushe second middle school,Yushe third middle school and Heyu middle school.Thus I realized the problems existing in student’s note-taking and using of junior school history directly and indirectly.And I analyzed the reasons,which laid a foundation for the research on promoting strategy of note-taking and using of junior school history.Third,begin with school and class environment,I analyzed that good school spirits,classroom discipline and learning style exert an edifying influence on student’s study.Based on above-mentioned research and study,this paper pointed out strategies of promoting student’s note-taking ability from two aspects: teachers and students.In the level of students,their potential motivation of note-taking should be aroused,they should save more available time for note-taking,cultivate a good habit of note-taking,innovate a unique form ofnote-taking,master the approach of note-taking skillfully and improve the ability of taking notes accurately.In the level of teachers,they should set the preview task based on problem and guide the students to take “notes before class”.In the class,they should write on the blackboard orderly and help the students to take “notes in class”.In addition,they should guide the students to memorize fast in different ways.After class,they need to examine student’s work regularly and normatively and strictly ask students to complete their “notes after class”.
