Study On The Free-kick Offence And Defence Tactics Application Adopted By The First Eight Teams 2018 Russian World Cup

With the increasing involvement of scientific research in the development of football tactics,modern high-level football players' technical and tactical abilities,the team's overall tactical thinking has a more fixed pattern.The average skill level of the players has been greatly improved,and the team has become more integrated.At the same time,the player's physical ability is put forward higher requirements,and the team's defensive ability,especially the ability of the formation strategy to move as a whole,is increasingly valued.As the defensive style of modern football tends to be consistent,the offense that relies entirely on personal ability is no longer suitable for today's integrated football tactics.When the opponent controls the ball,the only task of defense is to prevent the opponent from continuing to advance.Under the strict overall defense,the penetration of the attack becomes more and more difficult.In such a game,the free kick in the front-court highlights its importance.In the case that the positional attack is delayed,the initiative to try to break through the manufacturing foul to get the free kick in the front-court has become a major way to change the situation.Of course,after getting the free kick in the front-court,how to use the free kick to get the goal is the answer that the top team is constantly pursuing.In this study,the area that extends 35 meters from the bottom line of the court is locked and divided into seven small partitions.All the free kicks in the area that occurred in all the matches of the top eight teams of the 21 th World Cup in Russia from the group stage to the finals were studied.After repeated video observations,mathematical statistics were analyzed and the results of this study were as follows:1.According to the statistics of the free-kick of the top 8 of the World Cup in Russia in2018,there are more cooperative shots(73.1%)and fewer direct shots(26.9%).2.In the free kick of the front field using direct shots,the middle area appears the most(42.9%),followed by the left(16.7%)and right rib(19%)areas,and the left corner area again;the left and right front field areas use the smallest proportion of direct shots(7.1%,4.8%);The proportion of the ground-free free kick that takes off from the wall is increased(19%).3.In the front-court free kick with cooperative shooting,the right corner ball area has the highest proportion(100%),followed by the left(92.7%)and right(93.3%)midfield area,and the left(58.8%)and right(60%)rib area again;the vast majority of the cooperative shots onthe left and right sides use the way of passing the spot,a few The middle or rib free kick uses other methods such as one pass and one shot.4.According to statistics,the teams with the highest scoring rate are Russia(13.3%)and Uruguay(12.5%).5.According to the statistics of the free kick in the backcourt of the top 8 teams in the2018 Russia World Cup,the overall average turnover rate is 29.13% lower than before.6.Regional defensive tactics are still the first choice for free-kick defense.The use of blockades in critical space instead of man-to-man defensive tactics with higher turnover rates is still a trend.The key offensive players facing the opponent will still adopt the way of man-to-man defense.7.When defending the free kick in the backcourt,most national teams choose not to occupy the counterattack point,but choose to participate in the defense.Based on the results of the discussion above,the following recommendations are given:1.In the daily training,the team focuses on 2-3 players who are good at elevators and have outstanding skills.Of course,improving the overall quality of the team is the basic premise.You can use the method of positive foot volley at a position not far from the goal,which may have an unexpected effect.2.Improve the player's ability to adapt to a variety of free kicks and complex tactics.3.Regarding free kick defense,the wall defense can be composed of relatively fixed players.Replace the position,arrangement and combination of the wall according to different conditions,different regions and different opponents.4.The team's free-kick defensive strategy can't be static,and needs to be considered in combination with its own characteristics and opponent characteristics.For example,in this World Cup,when the French team encounters a smart forward,they will choose to implement regional defense.When encountering a high-scoring center,they will choose the regional combination man-to-man defensive strategy.Flexibility is also one of the factors that the French team won.
