The popularity of swimming meets the needs of diversified development of physical education courses in colleges and universities.More and more colleges and universities have carried out swimming courses,which are popular among students.Therefore,it is worth discussing how to update the teaching method of swimming course.There were some similarities between the bi-fin and freestyle swimming,so if there were some swimming teaching methods,there might be some advantages between the two.On the other hand,there was some bottleneck in the development of Chinese fin swimming.If the teaching model of fin swimming was introduced to common swimming training,there was some possibility for the development of fin swimming.In this paper,the teaching experiment was used to investigate in the same period of time,whether the fin swimming was used to improve the teaching efficiency and quality,and the students were able to know fin swimming and participate in fin swimming.I selected two male groups of grade 2016 physical education major of Wuhan Sport University as experimental research objects,including a control group and an experimental group.In the experimental group,the bi-fin training was introduced into the traditional freestyle teaching method,and the control learn swimming in a traditional way.All indexes were tested before the experiment to ensure the homogeneity of the experiment.During and after the experiment,scoring by specific technical indicators,collating and comparing the experimental data by SPSSAU.The experiment of the whole thesis adopts teaching experiment method,literature data method and mathematical statistics method.The research results are as follows:By introducing the teaching method of bi-fin training in colleges' swimming class,in the same learning time,the original learning target was expanded into freestyle swimming and bi-fin swimming.Both contents can be completed in the same learning time,which expands the teaching content and enriches the course form.In terms of students,the swimming course was followed by fin swimming,which enriched the knowledge of water sports and laid a foundation for the popular leisure diving.In the process of learning freestyle through the practice of webbed freestyle,it is found that due to the introduction of bi-fin and snorkels,it has a special effect on correcting the posture of students in some technical links,especially the practice offixing the head position and leg movements when swimming.This kind of practice can be used as a teaching method to introduce freestyle practice.From the perspective of the development of fin swimming,the introduction of fin swimming into the teaching swimming made the sport more widely accepted by the public and provided vitality and opportunities for the development of the sport.From the students' point of view,the study of fin swimming was a good way to broaden their vision in water sports and to lay a good foundation for their leisure diving.
