The 21st century is a knowledge-centered,innovation-driven age,and we are faced with a more uncertain environment and future,more and more occupations require practitioners to have innovation awareness,innovative thinking and innovative ability.The university's research activities emphasize students to transform from passively accept known knowledge into the discoverers,explorers and creators of unknown knowledge.It is highly overlapping with the talent training in the knowledge age.The history of the development of world-class universities shows that first-rate undergraduate education is the background of a first-class university.It is difficult for our universities to cultivate first-rate talents and achieve the goal of building a world-class university without the undergraduate education reform.Therefore,base on scientific research to explore the way of cultivating innovative talents in the research university who can both stand on reality and truly lead the future development and has the ability to solve complex problems in many fields has become the focus of the new round of undergraduate education reform.This article aims to explore the training mode of undergraduate innovative talents in research universities from the perspective of scientific research.First of all,combing the relationship between scientific research and talent training---dormancy,seed,establish,develop,drift and return,then point out that talent training is an innate function of scientific research and the research universities9 scientific research shoulders the responsibility of training innovative talents in undergraduate stage.Secondly,citing the views of domestic and foreign outstanding scholars to demonstrating that scientific research is good for cultivating innovative talents in undergraduate stage from three aspects:the nature of scientific research and teaching are both find and create;high level scientific research is an important support for high quality teaching;the unique role of scientific research in cultivating innovative talents in undergraduate stage.Thirdly,based on scientific research summarize and contrast three undergraduate innovative talents training mode in the domestic and international university:the freshmen seminar,aims to bring scientific research spirit and innovation awareness into the undergraduate talent training process;undergraduates research,aims to introduce undergraduate talents training activities into scientific research;honor education,aims to cultivate a top-notch innovative talents in undergraduate stage.Finally,analyzing the problems of talent cultivation in science research in China's research universities and put forward some suggestions on how to build and improve the mode of undergraduate innovative talent training which is based on scientific research in our research university:keep the talent cultivate function of scientific research and pragmatic in mind,respect its process and make it closely integrated with teaching activities;set freshman seminars as undergraduate compulsory courses,establish undergraduate research system and implement the honors education program;improve the university ranking system and the supporting institution;create an innovative cultural atmosphere,encourage students to say"You are wrong"boldly,and use a variety of activities to nurture students and nourish students.
