Study On Internal Control Of X Independent College

The independent college is a new mode of running a school that encourages colleges and universities to raise funds through social financing in order to meet the needs of social education development.It is an important part of private education.Because the funds for running schools mainly come from student tuition fees,the amount of education funds is huge and the sources are limited.Independent colleges lacking government financial support must use the only funds to ensure the healthy and orderly development of the college.Therefore,an effective internal control system must be established to ensure the effectiveness of the college's fund operations.However,from the reality,the managers of independent colleges in China still lack awareness of the importance of internal control.Therefore,in the independent colleges,there are widespread imperfections in system construction,or there are many problems in the implementation stage.Therefore,studying the internal control theory and construction of independent colleges has important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the healthy development of independent colleges.This paper mainly selects X Independent College as the specific research object,and studies the construction and implementation of the internal control of the independent college.Firstly,it lays a theoretical foundation for the thesis through principal-agent theory,risk-balanced income theory and stakeholder theory.Secondly,the author analyzes the current situation and existing problems of independent colleges in China from the perspective of the five elements of COSO.Then,based on the X-independent college,through the field internships and interviews with the specific members of the interview,I learned that the internal control of the X-independent college has problems at the unit level and economic business level.At the unit level,there are problems such as poor professional quality of financial personnel,weak risk awareness,inadequate risk assessment mechanism,inadequate internal monitoring,and poor internal communication channels.In the economic activity business,there are weak budget management links and irregular procurement management.Unscientific management of engineering projects and violations of the Accounting Law in accounting information processing have led to problems such as distortion of accounting information.Based on these problems,further analysis shows that the main reasons for these problems are the weak concept of X-independent internal control,the unfavorable supervision and control of internal control,and the weakness of X-independent colleges in accounting.From the unit level,X independent colleges should strengthen the professional quality of financial personnel,raise awareness of risk assessment and establish risk prevention mechanisms,strengthen internal supervision,internal audit and other solutions;from the business level should strengthen budget management,procurement management,project management and Strictly standardize accounting and other solutions.
