Under the requirements of sports entertainment gene and sports media survival,the combination of TV variety shows and sports has become the inevitable development of the times.This paper takes the path of sports culture transmission of TV variety shows as the research object,takes Laiba Champion,Running Bar Brothers and Ice and Snow Margin as examples,and uses the method of literature and case analysis to analyze the current situation and existing problems of sports culture dissemination by TV variety shows,sports TV variety shows and TV variety shows in China.From three aspects of content construction,symbol construction and consumption experience,this paper puts forward the path of sports culture dissemination by TV variety shows.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Sports TV variety shows and reality shows in China’s TV variety shows have become the main types of sports cultural communication programs.In the sports culture dissemination of TV variety shows,there are some problems,such as insufficient understanding of sports culture dissemination,self-obstacles and cultural collision faced by Chinese traditional sports culture dissemination,lack of professionals and inadequate innovation.2.According to the theory of communication,TV variety shows can achieve the spread of sports culture through three ways: content creation,symbol construction and experience design.3.Sports culture consists of spiritual,behavioral and material layers,which are embodied in sports events,sports events,sports figures,stadiums and gymnasiums,sports equipment,cities carrying a certain sports historical event,etc.TV variety shows should combine the connotation of sports culture and design content according to four elements: role presupposition,program rules,narrative structure and space-time relationship.4.The symbols of sports culture dissemination come from the natural environment,sports facilities,sports equipment and other artificially manufactured utensils on which sports development depends,as well as the symbols of sports culture production.According to the six aspects of symbol text,symbol carrier,media,channel,media and genre,the symbolic construction path of sports culture dissemination of TV variety shows can be carried out.5.There are aesthetic performances,social performances,mass performances,ritual performances and game performances in sports culture dissemination.TV variety shows can be designed from three aspects: language exchange,body display and mass interaction.
