Conceptions determine behaviors.Conceptions of the teacher's teaching have certain influence on their own teaching behavior.Understanding the conceptions of teaching of middle school physics teachers in our country is particularly important in this new era.The author found that the current research on physics teachers'teaching conceptions is lack,based on the review to the past related researches.Hence,this study mainly used the method of questionnaire to understand the overall situation of the teaching conceptions of middle school physics teachers in China.In the same time,the difference between the conceptions of pre-service and in-service physical teachers as well as the difference within different regions and teaching ages are investigated.The results indicated that(1)Pre-service teachers have better performance in terms of learning conceptions;(2)In-service teachers are good at the conceptions of assessment;(3)The teaching concepts of pre-service and in-service physics teachers are statistically significantly different;(4)There is a statistically significant difference in the teaching concept of serving physics teachers in terms of teaching age;(5)Statistics on teaching concepts and geographical aspects of serving physics teachers There are significant differences.
