The meaning in life refers to the individual's perception of the meaning of self-existence and self-importance.The meaning in life is beneficial to people's physical and mental health.It can effectively prevent the emergence of suicidal thoughts or behaviors,and strengthen people's courage and confidence in life.It is of great significance to people's survival.It is a topic worthy of study.Therefore,it is important to explore the status quo and influencing factors of meaning in life,and to formulate corresponding intervention plan.In this study,600 undergraduates were selected from a university in Henan Province as the research subject,and the five-factor mindfulness scale,positive psychological capital questionnaire and the meaning in life questionnaire were used to explore the status quo of undergraduates' meaning in life,the relation among undergraduates' mindfulness,psychological capital and meaning in life,and the mediating effect of psychological capital between mindfulness and meaning in life.On this basis,52 undergraduates were taken to explore the effectiveness of group intervention plan based on mindfulness on improving undergraduates' psychological capital and meaning in life.The research results showed:(1)The meaning in life of those undergraduates was generally above the medium level.The score of the search for meaning dimension of female undergraduates was significantly higher than that of male undergraduates;The total mean score of meaning in life of those undergraduates from urban areas was significantly higher than that of those undergraduates from rural areas.(2)Mindfulness was significantly positively correlated with psychological capital.Mindfulness was significantly positively correlated with meaning in life.Psychological capital was significantly positively correlated with meaning in life.Mindfulness could significantly positively predict meaning in life,and psychological capital could significantly positively predict meaning in life;Psychological capital played a partial mediating effect between mindfulness and meaning in life.(3)The post-test total mean scores of mindfulness,psychological capital and meaning in life in the experimental group were respectively significantly higher than those in the control group,and the tracking measurement total mean scores of mindfulness,psychological capital and meaning in life in the experimental group were respectively significantly higher than those in the control group;The post-test total mean scores of mindfulness,psychological capital and meaning in life in the experimental group were respectively significantly higher than the pre-tested total mean scores of those in the experimental group.The tracking measurement total mean scores of mindfulness,psychological capital and meaning in life in the experimental group were respectively significantly higher than the pre-tested total mean scores of those in the experimental group.Drew the following conclusions:(1)The meaning in life of those undergraduates was generally above the medium level.(2)There was a strong relationship between mindfulness,psychological capital and meaning in life each other;Psychological capital played a partial mediating effect between mindfulness and meaning in life.(3)The group intervention plan based on mindfulness could effectively enhance undergraduates' psychological capital and meaning in life,which not only had a good immediate effect,but also had a good tracking effect.
