Research On The Evaluation Of Social Science Subjects’ Competitiveness In Colleges And Universities In Shanxi Province

In the process of colleges and universities development,scientific and reasonable evaluation can often point out the direction of colleges and universities development planning and propose reasonable countermeasures.With the implementation and promotion of the country’s "double first-class" strategy,more and more colleges and universities have entered the "double first-class" camp as the development goal.How to set the development direction according to the scientific situation of colleges and universities,less detours,and rational allocation of limited resources has become the top priority in the development of colleges and universities.This paper first introduces the importance attached to higher education and social sciences in China,and briefly explains the weak academic subject in Shanxi Province at present,and the need for comprehensive and in-depth research on subject evaluation.Then it summarizes the current research status at home and abroad,and finds that although the evaluation of various subject is in full swing,it lacks in-depth comprehensive research on social science subjects and specific provinces.Then it explains the scope of social science subjects,briefly introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge of evaluation science and defines the concept of subject competitiveness,and puts forward a series of principle principles around the evaluation of subject competitiveness.Based on the evaluation of social science subject competitiveness,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of social science subject competitiveness based on Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process,and builds social science based on the large amount of data involved in the index system.The disciplinary evaluation system lays a good foundation for the preservation of precious data and further research in the future.The specific practical research on social science subjects in Shanxi Province will be carried out immediately,and the competitiveness of Shanxi’s overall social science subject as well as the first-level indicators and the second-level indicators will be compared;the comparison between Shanxi Province and the fraternal provinces;The first-level subject make specific analysis in the direction of national competitiveness,and use the diagnostic functions in the social science-based disciplinary evaluation system established by this institute to analyze the similarity of the management science and engineering subject of Shanxi University.The strengths and weaknesses of the institutions.Finally,the existing advantages and existing problems of social science subjects in Shanxi Province are obtained,and the ideas of subject diagnosis are put forward,which provides some development suggestions for the overall development of social science subjects in Shanxi Province.
