In modern basketball match,adjustment of lineup is the key to win the game.As the winning of Warriors and Cavaliers,and basketball lineup position becoming vague,position technology is convergent,position responsibilities and position structure are divers,multiple new lineup system is shown in the match.Basketball team style of double elements and multiple elements become more popular.Modern small ball games centers on outside lines offence and pays attention to fast、bright、accurate offensive-defence transform rhythm,which combinate time and space factors balances contradiction of height and speed.This forms a mainstream basketball style of fast transformation among player-ball-position in space and time that use speed malposition、technology malposition and height malposition.Besides,the mainstream basketball style reflected in championship teams declaring the “time of smallball” has come.This study investigate lineup combination of “time of smallball”,expecting to provide theoretical basis and reference for the future development of basketball in china.In the research,the lineup combination of NBA Warriors,Rockets,Cavaliers and Celtics were selected as the study objects,and constitute factors and traits of lineup combination were analyzed,by interviewing related experts,studying documentation,watching videos,and using logical analysis to processed data.The results showed that:1、In the time of smallball,small lineup is frequently used.High speed and even run around style is popular,teams emphasizes attack and defense transforms and three-poing shooting.The lineup combination is characterized by height factor,speed factor,position factor,team factor,and age factor etc.2、In the time of smallball,lineup combination not merely pure pursuit height,but more focused on play’s versatility.The importance of speed and teamwork has been more emphasized,vague location is becoming a trend in the time of smallball.3、In the time of smallball,the “one tall and four short” or “five short” lineup combination style,the acceleration of plays’ movement speed,the ball’s more faster move speed when attacking,and the increasement of pressure and aggression on the ball in defending,has greatly enhanced the whole team ability of attacking and defending.4、In the time of smallball,lineup is the perfect balance of stability and variability of player positions,speed and accuracy in the game,special lineup combination,and heroism and teamwork.
