This research investigated into the relationship of higher vocational college students' employment confidence,occupation expectation and occupational choice self-efficacy(OCSE).The development of higher vocational education can promote scientific and technological progress,talent value,industrial structure optimization and social education equity.Vocational students,an integral part of the education community,the quality of their employment is essential.Vocational factors are mainly subjective factors and objective factors,subjective factors mainly affect the personality characteristics of the professional ability,enthusiasm,self-confidence,etc;objective factors are mainly pay,industry status,geographical location,personal connections and career Expectations and so on.This study explores the relationship between employment self-confidence,occupation expectation and occupational choice self-efficacy of vocational college students,so as to provide the basis and reference decision for improving the employment level of higher vocational students.In this study,750 senior vocational students as the research object,using the "employment self-confidence questionnaire","career expectation scale" and "job efficiency questionnaire" to study the following questions: First,vocational students employment confidence,occupation expectation and occupational choice self-efficacy's the status quo and the gender,grade,place of origin,professional and other demographic variables on the differences;Second,vocational students employment confidence,occupation expectation and occupational choice self-efficacy's relationship;Third,The intermediary role of occupation expectation in employment self-confidence and occupational choice self-efficacy.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The employment self-confidence of the vocational college students is in the middle level.Ability self-confidence level was significantly higher than the relationship self-confidence level.There is no significant difference in the employment and self-confidence of senior high school students,but there are significant differences in professional and grade,especially the freshmen and sophomores.(2)Occupation expectation of vocational students is at a moderate level.There is no significant difference in occupation expectation between male and female,but there is significant difference in grade in occupation expectation.After the comparison,it is found that there is significant difference in the career expectation of freshmen and sophomores.There are significant differences between sophomore and junior vocational students.(3)Occupational efficacy of vocational students is at the middle level.There is a significant difference in occupation-job-efficacy among vocational college students with gender,specialty,grade and origin.After comparison,it is found that there are significant differences between the sophomore and junior high vocational students.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between employment confidence and occupation expectation,and there is a significant positive correlation between employment confidence and job-choosing efficacy,and there is significant positive correlation between occupation expectation and job-choosing efficacy.(5)Using stepwise regression method and Wen Zhonglin's intermediary test procedure,we find that there is significant relationship between employment confidence and occupation expectation,There is a significant linear relationship between employment confidence and occupational choice self-efficacy in vocational college students.There is significant linear relationship between employment expectation and occupational choice self-efficacy.And occupation expectations play a part of the intermediary role between the employment self-confidence and occupational choice self-efficacy,and the intermediary effect accounted for 46.91%.
