Evaluation And Analysis Of The Employment Quality Based On The 2016 Junior College Graduate In Jiangsu Province

Colleges are an important part of institutions of higher learning,and the employment quality of college graduates has attracted great attention from the whole society.The main direction of this paper is to establish an evaluation index system for the quality of employment for college graduates.Based on the survey data of employment of college graduates in 2016 in Jiangsu Province,the graduates' employment quality is analyzed,the evaluation index system of the employment quality is construct.Firstly the employment quality of the 2016 college graduates in Jiangsu province are summarized from 7 aspects.Secondly,in order to determine the contribution of the 17 secondary indicators in the employment quality evaluation index system,a method of determining index weight by principal component analysis is proposed.At last,the proposed method is applied to public and private college graduates to calculate their employment quality index.The results show that social welfare,employment areas and entrepreneurial-related indicators all have greater weights in the evaluation indicator system for both public institutions and private institutions.Combining the results of the principal component analysis and the cluster analysis of the area s of employment,28 provinces are divided into five categories.Finally,some suggestions on how to improve employment quality of college graduates are proposed from three levels,that is,state,college and graduates.
