Chemistry is science which is based on experiments and extremely focuses on exploring scientific experiment.It is clearly that experimental inquiry is quite important.As the experimental phenomenon of chemistry has a more vivid appeal to students,it not only make students obtain scientific knowledge but also effectively stimulates students’ interest in scientific inquiry.Therefore,the current education of chemistry and teaching staff pay more and more attention to experimental teaching,who design many demonstrations of experiments and grouping experiments.It is of great help to improve the quality of chemistry teaching and carries out innovative education.However,for various reasons,such as the lack of experimental equipments and the ability of teachers including many restrictions like the teaching models,the level of teachers,the system of examinations,and the teaching conditions of the laboratory etc,which makes some teachers can not complete experimental demonstrations of the book and only to choose the other ways.There is no more opportunity for students to experience the inquiry process,which is also contrary to the teaching philosophy of the new curriculum.This paper mainly researches to the current teaching of chemical experiments and the improvements of experiments in junior middle schools in Zhanggong District of Ganzhou by means of literature survey method,questionnaires and interviews.which bases on the chemistry experiment teaching from its safety,easy to observe,saving,Environmental protection and other aspects to get a better effect to improve and simply innovate some experiments in junior high school chemistry textbooks.In the process of the literature survey,I tried to improve and inquired experienced teachers to do experiment and explore,from various improving ways,at last I finally choose the best experimental improve-mental schemes.In the questionnaire survey,in order to obtain the necessary survey data,I prepared a survey based on the research of others which aims to figure out the difficulties encountered by students and teachers in Zhanggong District in doing these experiments,as well as the solutions.Finally,through interviews,we have a deeper understanding of the status of chemical experiments in Zhanggong District of Ganzhou and the status of experimental improvement which provided a lot of inspirations for my experimental improvement.The full text is divided into seven chapters: The first chapter is the introduction pointed out the background of the subject analyzed the present situation of chemistry experiment teaching at home and abroad,introduced the significance of the researching and the common ways and contents used in researching.The second chapter summarizes the content and characteristics of chemistry experiment in junior high school chemistry course and the commonly ways used in chemical experiments.The third chapter sets forth several theoretical basis for the improvement of Chemical Experiments in Junior High School.The fourth chapter selects five of the schools to conduct surveys and interviews on Thursday afternoons in Zhanggong District and analyzes the results of the surveys and interviews.And choose five schools to questionnaire and do interviews.The fifth chapter is on the basis of the fourth chapter which puts forward own improvement of some experiments in the junior high school chemistry textbook.The sixth chapter is the enlightenment,reflection and prospect of the experimental improvement,and points out the deficiencies of this research.The last chapter is an epilogue that expresses heartfelt gratitude to our mentors and tutors.
