School education should teach students not only textbook knowledge, but also the acquisition of subject method, the cultivation of ability and the development of literacy. This thesis finds that students encounter difficulties in learning organic chemistry, mainly because of the lack of chemical thinking methods. The "evidence reasoning and model cognitive literacy" is the cultivation of students’ thinking and methods in chemistry, and has important guiding significance for the study of organic chemistry. To help students diagnose and develop this literacy in organic chemistry classroom teaching, improve students’ logical thinking ability and ability to solve organic problems. This article takes "benzene","ethanol","phenol","writing of isomers under defined conditions",and "analysis of solving strategies for organic inference problems" as examples.Focusing on evidence reasoning and model cognitive literacy, the author proposes a teaching design pattern with literacy:By setting teaching objectives and evaluation goals, creating real-life situations, setting up problem-driven and completing learning tasks. In the process of independent learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning, students actively ask questions, collect evidence, confirm falsification, construct models, improve models, and apply models.Teachers give feedback evaluation through questions, conversations, comments, etc.Combine the teaching and learning activities of the classroom with the evaluation of chemistry learning, and finally diagnose and develop the core literacy of the discipline.
