The Application Of Association Rules In The Teaching Management Of Higher Vocational Colleges

Data mining technology has been widely used in business,finance and marketing,but it has been used less in education.The current teaching management system used by most schools is still on OLTP systems,which make it difficult to make good use of historical data,not to mention the extraction of hidden information in the teaching system.In order to more effectively use the information in the teaching system,some schools gradually applying data mining technology to teaching management system,but due to a late start,the application of data mining technology in the teaching management system is also very limited.Because the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities phenomenon is more obvious in recent years,the teachers and students proportion gradually imbalance,fewer staff personnel to manage the large number of students is difficult to implement,this paper focuses on how the scientific use of teaching management system of data information is studied,in Lanzhou institute of education as the research object,studies the technique of data mining in the school recruitment of students work,student development,student management and the role of classroom teaching quality evaluation.The specific research work of this paper includes:(1)Although the Lanzhou institute of education teaching management system has been used for many years,but did not set up a corresponding data warehouse,so first designed and built in Lanzhou education college educational administration information analysis of the data warehouse: first of all,Lanzhou institute of education of the educational administration information analysis of the data warehouse model was set up and design;Then the teaching information analysis data warehouse of education college in Lanzhou was constructed.Finally,SQL Server is used to analyze the data set in the warehouse.(2)to make data mining effect is better,in this paper,the existing Apriori algorithm to carry on the corresponding improvement,the direction of improvement are: to reduce the database scan frequency,increased the hash technology,reduce the number of invalid events and projects.The experimental results show that the improved Apriori algorithm is efficient and saves a lot of time.(3)applied data mining technology in the school,can affect all aspects of the school,first of all for students,through the data mining technology can be very good to anticipation of student achievement,to prevent the occurrence of unexpected situation,student achievement for the teacher,can be fair to the teacher's education quality evaluation,is of great help to the school's teaching evaluation work,for school,can undertake management work better,in addition to the school admissions and arrangement planning management has a lot of help.Applying data mining techniques to schools can also serve as a model for other schools.
