With the rapid development of high vocational education,the quality of cultivating high skilled talents needs to be improved according to the society's requirement.Internship plays an essential role in cultivating high skilled talents.It becomes more and more important.Even though it has scored remarkable progresses,there are still many problems existing in its implementation and management,such as companies' loose sense of internship as a way of cultivating talents,imbalance between integration of posts and majors,schools' inexact management in controlling internship,students' indifference towards internship and so on.All of such problems lead to unsatisfactory effects of internship.According to the relative literature reviews,most of the scholars focus on the macroscopic views to talk about internship,such as the government's policies and regulations.However,to improve the quality of internship is the most basic purpose to promote internship as a way to cultivate high skilled talents.In the hope of letting students have direct contact with employment,it is necessary to implement specific measures.As a result,the author considers it important to deal with the problems of internship through microcosmic and controllable ways.The thesis adopts both the questionnaire survey method and interview survey method to investigate the current conditions of internship in Zhaoqing's vocational colleges.What's more,it tries to find out reasons for the problems in three aspects: vocational colleges,internship units as well as the trainees.This paper discusses the feasibility of applying PDCA cycle theory in the quality management of students' internship so as to form a quality control system.Such a quality control system is applied to the students' internship of business English major in XJ College.The above-mentioned internship is considered as a project under the theory of PDCA cycle.The project has been divided into four stages:plan-do-check-act.Tasks of students' internship are classified into several modules.Small cycle of PDCA is implemented in each module.In conclusion,PDCA cycle theory has a great effect on the improvement of the quality of internship.And it demonstrates the feasibility of applying PDCA cycle theory in improving the quality of internship through the trainees' performance,the number of trainees who sign contracts with the companies and the degree of satisfaction of each party taking part in the internship.This paper analyzes the value of PDCA cycle theory in the quality management of students in vocational colleges form the theoretical analysis and the case analysis.What's more,it extends the application field of PDCA theory and provides experience for higher vocational colleges from the controllable factors to improve the quality internship.The contents of the article can be divided into the following six parts:The first part,introduction.This part introduces the background of the topic,the purpose,significance,innovation and methods of the research.The second part,conceptual definition and literature review.This part mentions the documentations of the management in internship,as well as the concepts of PDCA theory and internship.The third part,the current situations and problems of the internship in the higher vocational colleges of Zhaoqing city.By investigating the current situations of the management of internship in the higher vocational colleges of Zhaoqing city,the author concludes the reasons for the existing problems.The fourth part,the setting up of a system by applying PDCA cycle theory in the quality management of students' internship.This part discusses the feasibility of applying PDCA cycle theory in the quality management of students' internship in order to set up a system for managing the quality of internship.The fifth part,case analysis.According to the case analysis,PDCA cycle theory has great effects on the quality improvement in students' internship.Demonstrations can be found in the value of PDCA cycle theory in the quality management of student's internship in higher vocational colleges.In addition,after applying PDCA cycle theory in students' internship,satisfactions from higher vocational colleges,students and companies towards internship have been improved.The sixth part,conclusion.This part aims to summarize the the main idea of the article,get conclusions of this study,as well as to make a outlook on the follow-up research work.
