In recent years,as the incidence of autism increase,autism children has become a focused group.One of the key symptom is social communication and social intercourse,autism children show social intercourse defect because of Theory of Mind's defect.The study takes Multiple Exemplar Instruction to intervention Theory of Mind of autism children,to enhance their Theory of Mind in order to enhance their social intercourse.The study takes multiple probe design across behaviors of single-subject experimental design.The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Multiple Exemplar Instruction on Theory of Mind for children with autism.The participants were currently enrolled in general special education school in Hangzhou who with autism.The independent variable is the Multiple Exemplar Instruction,the dependent variables are the performance of Theory of Mind ability including distinguish reality situation and imagine situation,false belief and hidden emotion.Finally,we use a questionnaire for student's teacher and parents in order to investigate validity of social analysis.Studies using visual analysis,C statistics,descriptive statistics to analyze intervention,rater consistency reliability and validity of social analysis.The conclusions were summarized as follows:1.Multiple Exemplar Instruction teaching children with autism on distinguish reality situation and imagine situation,with immediate,sustained learning effect.2.Multiple Exemplar Instruction teaching children with autism on false belief,with immediate,sustained learning effect.3.Multiple Exemplar Instruction teaching children with autism on hidden emotion,with immediate,sustained learning effect.4.The intervention effect of Multiple Exemplar Instruction has good social validity.Based on these conclusions,recommendations for future autism children teaching basic Theory of Mind curriculum,you can use Multiple Exemplar Instruction and try to further this method of Theory of Mind applied to other aspects of children with autism programs,I believe there will be good immediately,to maintain the effect.
