The development of preschool education is a major event related to the future of the country and the nation.In the new era and new situation,with the advancement of market economy,preschool education in China has made considerable progress.At the same time,China has put forward higher requirements for preschool education.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China?CPC?put forward that " Developing pre-school education well and striving to make every child enjoy a fair and quality education".It shows the ardent expectations of the Party Central Committee for the development of preschool education and its firm belief in developing a good preschool education.At present,the development of preschool education is slightly slower than other stages of education,but preschool education has a certain impact on economic growth.Therefore,calculating the contribution rate of preschool education to economic growth in China has certain reference value for promoting the development of preschool education in various regions of China.Based on the study of the relationship between education and economic growth,this paper focuses on the impact of preschool education on economic growth.This has formed a new perspective to interpret how education at preschool stage can influence the economic growth specifically.It can also enrich studies on the contribution rate of education at different stages to economic growth respectively.Moreover,it clarifies the view that the investment in education,especially preschool education,has no or insignificant effect on economic growth.This paper focuses on the contribution rate of preschool education investment to economic growth in various provinces and municipalities?autonomous regions?in China and the classification of each region.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature analysis,comparative research and statistical analysis,based on the relevant data published in the yearbooks of provinces and municipalities?autonomous regions?in China from 1997 to 2016.The C-D production function is transformed into a standardized multivariate regression model.The contribution rate of preschool education investment to economic growth is calculated by R-3.5.1 and Eviews.10 software.The calculation results are combined with the economic data of each region,and the GA-ISODATA algorithm is used to classify 31 provinces and municipalities?autonomous regions?into 3 categories through Matlab2016a programming.Finally,according to the classification results,the contribution rate of preschool education to economic growth is analyzed,four conclusions are drawn,and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.The results show that:?1?Except for Qinghai and Guizhou provinces,The output elasticity coefficient of preschool education investment to economic growth in all regions of China is positive,indicating that preschool education investment has a significant role in promoting economic growth,but preschool education input still has a large gap compared with developed countries.?2?The output elasticity coefficient of preschool education input in 31 provinces and municipalities?autonomous regions?of China is smaller than that of fixed capital investment in economic growth,and the output elasticity coefficient of preschool education in the eastern,central and western regions decreases in turn.?3?There are two extreme situations in Shanghai,Qinghai and Guizhou.?4?There are regional differences in the contribution rate of preschool education in China.The contribution rate of preschool education in the three regions of the east,the middle and the West decreases in turn.Four suggestions are put forward according to the research results:?1?To increase investment in preschool education and diversify financing channels;?2?To maintain the existing talents and attract talents from other provinces;?3?To accelerate the transformation of economic structure and give priority to the development of preschool education;?4?To promote the coordinated development of preschool education regions.In this paper,there may be some limitations in the selection of factors and the control of irrelevant variables.In the process of analyzing the contribution rate of preschool education in each province,it is discussed by grouping 31 provinces and municipalities?autonomous regions?into three categories.In the follow-up study,the provinces can be discussed in more detail for each province.
