A Study On The Issues Of In-service School Teachers’ Pay Tutoring

In recent years,the expansion of supplementary education has grown very fast.Various forms of tutoring classes and tutoring institutions are springing up all over the place,and"pay tutoring"is growing continuously.As a special group,in-service teachers are also involved.This study takes in-service teachers in primary and secondary schools as the research object,discusses the current situation,influence and causes of in-service teachers engaging in "pay tutoring",and puts forward measures to regulate servicing teachers engaging in pay tutoring.Specifically,the main research content involves the following four aspects:First of all,this paper analyzes and sorts out the relevant literature of"pay tutoring" at home and abroad.On this basis,the concepts of in-service teachers and pay tutoring are defined as the theoretical basis for the discussion.Secondly,through questionnaires,interviews and other means,the current situation of "pay tutoring" of in-service teachers was investigated.In this study,in-service teachers,bosses of cram school educational institutions,parents and students were interviewed in depth,and I visited tutoring places of some servicing teachers when they were engaged in pay tutoring.The composition of teachers and students,teaching situation and teachers’living conditions were summarized and sorted out.At the same time,by analyzing and summarizing,and drawing on the views of predecessors,this paper focuses on analyzing the negative effects of paid tutoring by servicing teachers from the perspectives of responsibility,fairness and order.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the reasons for in-service teachers to engage in "pay tutoring"from the following five aspects:the school education system,the concept of market economy,the responsibility of education,the satisfaction of teachers’ needs and the alliance of multi-interest community.As far as school education system is concerned,it can be divided into school examination system and school management system.As far as the market economy concept is concerned,it can be divided into parents’investment in human capital and teachers’ selling of superior capital.As far as educational responsibility is concerned,it can be divided into family and school education responsibility weakening.As far as teachers’ needs are concerned,they are divided into two aspects:the expansion of teachers’ interpersonal relationship and the psychology of comprision and comformity.As far as the interest community alliance is concerned,it can be divided into two aspects:teachers and after-school counseling institutions,as well as parents and teachersFinally,from three aspects of cognition,system and behavior,this paper proposes effective strategies to regulate servicing teachers to engage in pay tutoring.Through the correction of ideology and the change of value orientation,the restraint of educational administrative system and the assistance of school management system,as well as the cooperation among educational administrative departments,schools themselves and teachers,it is expected to be helpful to restrain servicing teachers from engaging in"pay tutoring".
