Analytical geometry is one of the most important contents of mathematics curriculum in senior high school,and it is also a compulsory part of college entrance examination.It usually examines students' basic knowledge,ability of calculating and solving,consciousness of inquiry and innovation,etc.In learning and teaching,it is found that the score rate of students in solving analytic geometry problems is not very ideal,and the current situation of senior high school students' learning of analytic geometry is not optimistic.What causes students to have some difficulties in solving analytic geometry problems need to be thoroughly and meticulously studied.In this study,281 senior high school students in Qingyang City,Gansu Province,were surveyed about their analytical geometry learning.SPSS data analysis software and Excel software were used to analyze and process the collected data.The senior high school mathematics teachers of the students were interviewed,and the interview records were classified,sorted and analyzed.The results show that:(1)37% of the students' analytical geometry problem-solving abilities are at level 2,56% at level 3,3% at the lowest level and 4% at the advanced level.It can be seen that the level of analytical geometry problem-solving ability of students in research schools is generally not high.(2)Ror students of different grades,the level of analytical geometry problem-solving ability of Senior Three students is higher than that of Senior Two students(3)For students of different genders,boys' analytical geometry problem solving ability level is higher than girls' analytical geometry problem solving ability level.(4)For students of different subjects,the level of analytical geometry problem-solving ability of science students is higher than that of liberal arts students.Based on the current situation and characteristics of senior high school students' analytical geometry problem-solving ability,this study analyzed the reasons for the low level of students' analytical geometry problem-solving ability from the results of test papers,students' questionnaires and teachers' interviews,and put forward corresponding promotion strategies: strengthening encouragement,enhancing students' self-confidence;following students' learning characteristics,developing spiral teaching;and cultivating good learning.Habits;deepen the level of knowledge understanding,flexible use of the knowledge learned.
