Minority education is an important part of in our national education,and bilingual education is the main form and realization of the minority education.Meanwhile,the quality of bilingual teachers fundamentally determines the success or failure of bilingual education.However,the current problem of bilingual teachers in China is insufficient and poor quality,which is still a major obstacle to the development of bilingual education.Bilingual teacher issues are still worthy of attention and research.Focusing on the professional growth process of bilingual teachers and exploring the effective ways and existing problems in their professional growth process is of great significance for improving the quality of bilingual teachers.Considering the consideration of various factors,this thesis selects three Tibetan-Chinese bilingual teachers from an ethnic middle school of G county as the research object.This study takes the professional quality structure of bilingual teachers as the analytical dimension of this research.It includes five aspects: professional attitude,professional knowledge,professional skills,bilingual level and cultural understanding.It uses narrative research methods to explore the professional growth process of three subjects through specific research methods such as observation,interviews and physical collection.The research collects relevant data and analyzes them,and presents the process of three bilingual teachers' professional growth in the form of narrative texts.At the same time,This paper conducts personality analysis and common analysis on their professional growth process,finds out the problems in their professional growth,and proposes corresponding countermeasures.Based on the understanding of the three research subjects,this study focused on the growth of the three bilingual teachers in the above five aspects,and conducted a personality analysis and common analysis of their professional growth process.Personality analysis focuses on the impact of different personality characteristics of bilingual teachers on their professional growth and the differentstages of their professional growth experience.Common analysis summarizes six ways to promote the professional growth of three bilingual bilingual teachers,namely teaching practice,teaching reflection,research materials,training,the help of colleagues,and the promotion of information technology.At same time,it points out the problems existing in the professional growth process:Professional attitude needs correction,limited professional knowledge,lack of professional skills,poor bilingualism,Less bi-cultural understanding and teaching.On this basis,it puts forward suggestions for promoting the professional growth of bilingual teachers,including the following five aspects:increase cognitive awareness to correct professional attitudes;enrich educational science knowledge and bilingual bi-cultural knowledge;emphasize and enhance bilingual teaching skills and build multiple interpersonal skills;improve bilingualism through second language acquisition;and increase cultural understanding through inter-group contacts.
