Principal Value Education Under The Horizon Of China University Commencement Speech Content Analysis

At present,China is in a period of social transformation,and there are a series of problems such as value confusion and value deficiency in the society,which makes China's University value education face new topic and challenge.It is an important educational responsibility and mission of the university to cultivate the correct value attitude of College Students,enrich their value and emotion,and improve their ability of value judgment and choice.The opening ceremony of the university is the first lesson of college education for freshmen.The principal's speech,as the highlight of the first lesson,whose transmission of the value concept and value orientation play an important value leading role in guiding students' four years of university life and learning,and even the development of life in the future.This study is based on the ideological and political education,pedagogy,ethics and etc.As to Renmin University of China,Peking University,Tsinghua University,Zhejiang University,four universities' opening ceremonies and principal's speech specific contents,combined with value education and other related theories,analyzing the speech texts by using the word frequency analysis method;and around distribution and variation characteristics of the value of the high frequency words,which analyzes the value,content and value orientation of the speeches of the four universities'principals during their opening ceremonies,sorts out the change tendency of the value orientation of these four universities during the past ten years and discusses the value education problems contained in them.In order to better play the value educational function and function of the first lesson of university,some relevant suggestions are put forward.The first chapter describes the research background,objectives,research methods and etc,and tries to put forward the innovation of the paper;in the second chapter,on the basis of the research of the University opening ceremony,the president's speech and the related research value education.This paper analyzes the relationship between the speech of the principal and the opening ceremony of the University,and the value of the principal's speech in the University's value education activities.The third chapter uses the word frequency analysis method to analyze the high-frequency words one by one in the speech text.According to the above research and analysis,the fourth chapter gets the content of the subject of speech classified microscopically from two aspects of the social value and personal value.On this basis,it not only carries on the overall inquiry and analysis to the value education tendency of the principal's speech in the past ten years,but also analyzes the differences among the four universities from the micro level,finding out the unique features of each school.The fifth chapter analyzes the success of the value education in the speech,such as highlighting school education mission,echoing the mainstream values of society,meeting the needs of students,guiding the healthy development of students,etc,and further expounds the improvement direction of speech,such as the school history telling method needs to be improved,the guidance of individual and social value orientation needs to co-ordinate,the leading social development consciousness,which needs to be improved,and the cultivation of value consciousness and value of quality training should to be enhanced.Finally,put forward targeted countermeasures for improvement as follows:Firstly,strengthening the value rational education;Secondly,establishing the value education goal in the ceremony of opening ceremony reasonably;Thirdly,enhancing the value consciousness of the university educators to lead the social development,enriching the connotation of the speech and paying attention to the cultivation of students' value quality.
