Research On The Path Of Promoting The Construction Of Teachers' Morality And Style In College Union In The New Era

“The long-term plan for the national development should be based on education;The long-term plan for the development of education should be based on teachers.” Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping made many important speeches on education and teacher work,put forward ardent hope to the teachers.It is hoped that the majority of teachers can adhere to “Four Unities”(The unity between teaching and education,the unity between the explanation in words and setting a good example,the unity between the devotion to study and paying attention to the society,and the unity between the academic freedom and the academic norm).Try to be a good teacher with ideals,beliefs,moral sentiments,solid knowledge and kindheartedness.Try to be the guide to temper the character of students,help them with study,cultivate their innovative thinking,and make them devoted to the motherland.In January 2018,the State Council of the People's Republic of China issued “The Opinions on the Comprehensive Deepening of the Reform on Teachers' Team Construction in the New Era”.This is the first landmark policy document specifically for the construction of the teaching staff issued by the Party Central Committee since the founding of New China,putting education and teacher work at an unprecedented political height.In the document,it is emphasized to strengthen the construction of teachers' morality and style.The construction of the morality and style of teachers has been studied for many years.The majority of teachers have the spirit of teaching and educating people and dedication to win the respect of the society.However,with the progress of the times,the Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,it has opened a new journey to build a modern socialist country in an all-round way.The Chinese main contradiction has been transformed,so people have put forward some higher requirements for the quality of education and teachers.At present,themorality level of university teachers still needs to be improved.Some new problems that arise in the construction of the morality of teachers need to be solved.It is urgent to innovate the ways and means to construct the morality of teachers.In “The Opinions on Establishing and Perfecting the Long-term Mechanism for Teachers' Morality Construction in Colleges and Universities”,it is clearly pointed out by the Ministry of Education to “give full play to the role of organization,propaganda,trade unions,academic committees and professors' committees in the construction of the morality of teachers”.It is urgent to innovate and strengthen the construction of the morality of teachers in colleges and universities for the new journey,the new problem and the new mission.With a broad mass base as well as various carriers of activities,trade unions in colleges and universities shoulder the educational function,and become an indispensable and important force to strengthen the construction of the morality of teachers.This article first compares the differences between Chinese and Western trade unions on the basis of summarizing the basic concepts of trade unions,teachers' morality and style.It expounds the theory of trade unions of the Communist Party of China;then,it analyzes the importance of trade unions in the construction of teachers' morality and style.This covers the status,advantages and functions;then,it affirms the achievements of the university trade unions in the new era in promoting the construction of teachers' morality and style.It points out the main problems that still exist and analyzes the reasons for the deepening.Finally,combined with the requirements of the spirit of the Central Group Work Conference on the reform of trade unions,it puts forward the realization path of the construction of teachers' morality and style in colleges and universities: establish the goal of building teachers' morality,expand the platform for building teachers' morality,establish long-term mechanism for the construction of teachers' morality.
