In 2013,in order to implement the fundamental task of establishing a national virtue and to develop quality education,a revision of the geography curriculum standards was carried out.The newly promulgated "General Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017)Annual Edition" focuses on the core concept of the subject as the core to promote the optimization of the curriculum structure to cultivate students' core qualities in geography.The core concept of geography is a concrete manifestation of the core literacy of geography.Through the study of core concepts,it helps students establish a large framework of geographical concepts and understand the ideas and methods of geography.Gradually master the skills of geographic map reading and geographic analysis in the learning process of core concepts,and promote the implementation of core literacy.An important feature of advanced learning is centered on the core concepts of the subject,helping students complete the learning of the knowledge system from simple to complex and from easy to difficult.The advanced construction of the core concept is divided into different "levels".Teachers can adjust the teaching rhythm in time according to the performance of different "levels",ensure the consistency of teaching and evaluation,and improve the effect of geographical concept teaching.This article is based on cognitive development theory,spiral curriculum theory,constructivism theory and recent development zone theory.It uses literature research methods,questionnaire survey methods,interview methods and comparative methods to first sort out the core concepts of geography and learning progress.The research progress at home and abroad,followed by the use of "settlements" as an example to select the core concepts of geography in this topic,and to complete the advanced construction of the selected core concepts,and then to conduct an empirical test of the learning advanced framework,mainly to obtain the following Research results:(1)Refer to the core content of the international geography curriculum,the geography curriculum standards for junior and senior high schools,the geographers' thoughts at home andabroad,the content of junior and senior high school textbooks and the valuable opinions of frontline teachers.Finally,three core concepts of space,landscape and human-land relationship were selected.The advanced construction of core concepts has gone through four processes: the construction of advanced framework of core concepts-preparation of test questions-construction of problem space-empirical testing.The construction of the core conceptual framework first considers the psychological structure of the students.The construction of the specific framework refers to Mohan 's horizontal hierarchy advanced framework and Guo Yuying 's scientific hierarchy development model,and finally completes the core concepts from experience-mapping-association-comprehensive Go to the level and list the specific performance of the core concepts in the "settlement" learning theme.(2)Using the Rasch model to conduct empirical research from four aspects:unidimensionality,reliability,topic fitting effect and frame validity test.Through the first round of the two rounds of questionnaires,we judged whether the advanced framework for core concepts was feasible from the perspective of major principles and directions,and selected major problems and deficiencies in the framework to provide a reference for subsequent framework amendments.The second part is the further examination of the revised framework or test questions.Final result: It is confirmed that the framework reflects the students' psychological structure as a single psychological structure;the reliability is 0.74,and the reliability is good;the fitting value of the subject is basically within a reasonable range of [0.5,1.5];the advanced framework of core concepts conforms to the students ' Cognitive level,frame validity test is good.(3)In order to ensure that the advanced construction of the core concepts can effectively guide the teaching,three teaching enlightenments are proposed in this article: One is to integrate the knowledge with the geographical core concepts as the center.The second is to use the "steps" in the advanced learning as a reference to maintain the consistency of teaching and evaluation.The third is to refer to the advanced learning framework for effective teaching design.Taking the core concept of geography "space" as an example,case design is carried out to enhance practicality.This article completes the screening of the core concepts of the "settlement" theme,and completes the advanced construction of the core concepts.On the one hand,it provides teachers with a screening method when screening core concepts;on the other hand,it provides a tool for testing the validity of the framework-the Rasch model.The core concept of geography is the "backbone" of geographical knowledge.This research hopes to help front-line teachers decompose the core concept and help students learn from simple to complex to improve the effect of classroom teaching.
